Our Toddler Classroom
An action-packed day full of fun and purposeful play helps toddlers develop Active Minds, Healthy Bodies, and Happy Hearts®. We know 1-year-olds are constantly on the move, exploring and learning through play at every turn. Primrose teachers use that energy and enthusiasm to foster cognitive, social, emotional and physical skills through engaging games and activities.

Our Toddler Classroom Teachers & Staff

Ms. Izzy
I have been working with young children for six years, and I am currently continuing my education in college. One of the most rewarding parts of my job is seeing the children’s smiles when they arrive in the morning and watching them excitedly wave goodbye at the end of the day. Those little moments remind me why I love what I do.
One of my favorite books to read with my students is Goodnight Moon—it’s such a comforting and timeless story. Christmas is my favorite holiday, and I also enjoy celebrating Día de los Muertos with my family. One of our most cherished traditions is going to the drive-in on New Year’s Eve, a special way to welcome the new year together.
I speak English and share my home with a fun bunch of pets—three dogs named Zorro, Ninja, and Nova, as well as a chinchilla named Sushi!
In my free time, I love coloring, photography, and catching up on my favorite shows.

Ms. Karen
I have been working with children for over 19 years, and I am currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and Administration. Being in the presence of children serves as a beautiful reminder of the wonder and creativity they bring to the world. It is an honor to be part of their learning journey, witnessing their curiosity, imagination, and the special moments when understanding sparks in their eyes. Those moments bring me immense joy as a caregiver and educator.
One of my favorite books to share with children is The Giving Tree—a touching story with valuable lessons about love and generosity. Halloween is my favorite holiday, and I cherish my family’s unique traditions, like our August 22nd Family Un-Birthday and the fun of finding The Christmas Pickle during the holiday season.
I speak English and, while I don’t have pets of my own, I absolutely love dogs!
In my free time, I enjoy playing games, reading, and spending time at the beach, where I can relax and recharge.

My favorite thing about working with children is helping them explore and learn new things. I love being able to make a positive impact in their lives by supporting them and creating a safe, welcoming space where they can thrive. One of my favorite children’s books is Amelia Bedelia—these stories remind me of my childhood and the special moments I shared reading them with my mom.
Christmas is one of my favorite holidays because it brings my family together. We also celebrate Día de los Muertos in my culture, a beautiful holiday dedicated to honoring and remembering loved ones who have passed. One of my favorite family traditions is celebrating Christmas on Christmas Eve and opening presents at midnight.
At home, I speak both English and Spanish. I also have two cats—an orange one named Simba and a black one named Scarlet. In my personal time, I enjoy going to the gym and reading books.
