Our Early Preschool Classroom
Many 2-year-olds want to do everything by themselves. And why not? It’s their way of experimenting and learning to understand the world. Early Preschool teachers provide a safe, nurturing environment where your child can explore and stretch their talents to the fullest all while building self-confidence. Your child will have fun every day as they play and learn important academic skills, social skills and more.

Our Early Preschool Classroom Teachers & Staff

Ms. Laura
I have over 12 years of experience working in preschool education, and I love being part of a child’s early learning journey. I studied at Diablo Valley College and California State University East Bay, where I developed my passion for teaching and early childhood development.
One of my favorite things about working with young children is seeing them discover a love for learning. There’s nothing more rewarding than watching their faces light up when they feel proud of their accomplishments. I also love sharing stories with them—Beatrix Potter books are some of my favorites!
Outside of the classroom, I enjoy celebrating the holidays with my family, especially Christmas, Thanksgiving, and Easter. One of our most cherished traditions is baking holiday treats together. At home, I speak English and know some sign language, which I enjoy incorporating into my teaching. I also have two adorable pet bunnies, Clarence and Joy, who always keep me entertained!
In my free time, I love reading and playing the piano—it’s a wonderful way to relax and express creativity.

Ms. Jen
Before becoming a preschool teacher, I was a stay-at-home mom for twelve years, which gave me a deep appreciation for early childhood development. For the past three years, I have been teaching in a preschool setting, bringing my love for nurturing and guiding young children into the classroom. I earned my B.A. in Child and Adolescent Development from San Francisco State University, and I am passionate about fostering a positive and supportive environment for every child.
What I love most about working with children is being an optimistic, nurturing, and constant figure in their lives. Every child deserves to feel safe, encouraged, and loved, and I take great joy in being part of their growth and development.
Two of my favorite children’s books are Love You Forever by Robert Munsch and A You’re Adorable by Martha Alexander—both stories beautifully capture the love and connection between children and their caregivers. Thanksgiving and Halloween are my favorite holidays, as they bring family together and create lasting memories.
A cherished tradition in my family is passing down recipes and cooking together, especially with my children. Another special tradition is going to Benihana’s every Fourth of July—it’s a fun way to celebrate while enjoying great food and time together.
I speak English, and while I don’t have pets, I love spending time with my boys. In my free time, I enjoy working out, shopping, and going out to eat—it’s my way of unwinding and enjoying life’s little pleasures!

Ms. Vanessa
I’m Vanessa. I have been working with children for 19 years. I went to Los Angeles Pierce College to get my early childhood credentials. I have also worked in a Montessori school and took training for it. My favorite thing about working with children is that they always bring a smile, and I love teaching and learning new ways to work with them. Every child is unique and different.
