Franchise Owner
Anita and Harrison Boyd
Hi, we are Anita and Harrison Boyd, the proud parents to Connor, Savannah and our youngest, Henry. Our Primrose story began just before our oldest son was born when we started looking for childcare in the Atlanta area. As working parents, we recognize the value of having your child cared for in a safe, nurturing environment that ultimately feels like an extension of your family. We looked at several preschools and were impressed with the warmth we felt at Primrose and its Balanced Learning® approach, which includes character development.
When the opportunity arose to open a Primrose school in Anita’s hometown of Indianapolis, we knew we wanted to give families the peace of mind that comes from knowing they are doing the best thing for their children and deliver the amazing Primrose experience we had as Primrose parents ourselves. We are very excited to have the opportunity to bring high-quality early education to the community in which Anita grew up since 2018.
Anita earned her undergraduate degree from Indiana University before moving to Atlanta to earn her doctorate in physical therapy from Emory University. As a physical therapist, Anita always enjoyed helping others reach their full potential, and is excited to put that passion toward helping children learn and grow at our school. Harrison attended Auburn University for his undergraduate degree in architecture and Georgia State University for his master’s in real estate. We met through a mutual friend in Atlanta and spent 11 wonderful years there, and are thrilled this opportunity brought us to Indy to raise our family!
We are passionately committed to providing the highest quality care and education for our own children as well as yours. We invite you to see first-hand what differentiates Primrose School of Geist from other child care centers, and look forward to meeting you and welcoming you into our Primrose family!
