Our Toddler Classroom
An action-packed day full of fun and purposeful play helps toddlers develop Active Minds, Healthy Bodies, and Happy Hearts®. We know 1-year-olds are constantly on the move, exploring and learning through play at every turn. Primrose teachers use that energy and enthusiasm to foster cognitive, social, emotional and physical skills through engaging games and activities.
Nurturing Active Minds, Healthy Bodies, and Happy Hearts

Our Toddler Classroom Teachers & Staff

Ms. Torres
I am originally from Wayne. Nebraska, and I graduated from Wayne State College with a degree in Communication Studies. I have always enjoyed working with people, and especially taking care of others. Working with children has made me realize that connection and understanding is extremely important. I love how children discover their new likes and their curiosity about life is touching and always reminds me that we were once children, too. I am patient, have good interpersonal communication and leadership skills, and I work well under pressure. I am excited to learn, grow, fail…and learn again!

Ms. Serrano
I am the youngest of four siblings and have plans to attend MCC to study Early Childhood Education. I love working with children, helping them learn, grown, and feel safe. I am patient, caring, responsible, and good at communicating with children. I look forward to building relationships with all of the children and appreciate Primrose’s strong focus on early learning and caring environment.

Ms. Aboutaleb
I am from a very big family and have been around young children my whole life. I previously worked at a religious school teaching young children about our language, culture, and religion. I love how genuine and enthusiastic children are to learn. I also love to learn and feel I am a kid at heart. I have always been drawn to teaching and feel Primrose will be a good environment as it provides structure and learning.

Ms. Smith
I grew up in the Omaha & Council Bluff area and I am currently attending Iowa Western Community College studying criminal justice. I love working with children and getting to watch them grow and learn. I am looking forward to the opportunities available at Primrose and learning about all of the children.

Ms. Estrada
I was born in Sonora, Mexico. I recently completed my RBT (Registered Behavior Therapist) certification. I was drawn to Primrose because of its vision and mission and because it allows me the opportunity to care for children and make an impact on their lives.

Ms. Sanchez
I was born in Texas and moved to Nebraska when I was two years old. I have completed some classes at Metro Community College and would like to pursue a degree in pediatric nursing or elementary education. I have several years of experience working in childcare and I love creating bonds with children by providing a safe and nurturing environment. I was drawn to Primrose because my vision for what is best for children aligns with Primrose and I can’t wait to get to know the children and help them grow.
