Hello, my name is Jamie Keel and I am pleased to introduce myself as the Executive Director for the Primrose School of Atascocita, Primrose School at Crossroads Park, Primrose School of Copperfield, Primrose School of Greatwood, Primrose School at Balmoral and Primrose School of Sugarland. I started my career in early childhood in 2009 and have worked with Primrose Schools since 2010. I graduated from Louisiana State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications, however continued my education at the University of St. Thomas in Houston, Texas. It was at the University of St. Thomas where I completed my education coursework and obtained an early childhood through 6th grade teacher certification. I have experience as a Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten Lead Teacher as well as Leadership experience as both Assistant Director and School Director. My husband Adam and I have three amazing children who all attended Primrose. Primrose is more than a school for us; it is a part of our family! I am proud to say I get to work at the very best preschool for infant through kindergarten and after school care for the Northwest Houston, Northeast Houston, Jersey Village, Cypress, Sugar Land, and surrounding areas.

Hi, my name is Lindsey Griffin and I am pleased to introduce myself as the Regional Director for the Primrose School at Crossroads Park, Primrose School of Copperfield, and Primrose School of Greatwood. I started my career working in early childhood in 2010 and have worked with the Primrose Schools since 2012. I have an Associates Degree of Arts in Teaching from Lone Star College. While working in the Primrose Schools I have held many titles from Lead Teacher, Administrative Assistant, Assistant Director, Director, and now Regional Director. I enjoy coming into the schools each day to see smiling children learning new things each day as well as working hand in hand with our teachers and leadership teams to help them grow to become the best teachers and leaders of Houston in early childhood education.

As the Director of Learning and Development for Primrose School of Copperfield and Primrose School at Crossroads Park, I am passionate about ensuring every child entrusted to our care receives the highest-quality education in a nurturing, supportive and fun environment. I work closely with our dedicated faculty to help them grow as educators, supporting their development so they can bring out the best in every student they teach.

With over 14 years of experience at Primrose—starting as a teacher and eventually serving as a School Director for eight years—I bring a deep understanding of early childhood education and a heartfelt commitment to serving families. I believe in creating an environment where both children and teachers can thrive.

My husband and I live in the Copperfield area with our two young children, who also attend Primrose, and two dogs. We love spending time together as a family, whether we’re out and about or enjoying a cozy evening at home. I’m also passionate about cooking, reading, and, most of all, being a mom.

It’s a true privilege to support families and educators each day, and I’m honored to play a role in shaping such an important part of children’s lives.

Hello! My name is Brittany Dowler and I am pleased to introduce myself as the Director of Primrose School of Copperfield. I was born in Houston, Texas but I was raised in both Oklahoma and Texas. I graduated high school from Langham Creek. I went to Northeastern State University in Oklahoma and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. I have over 18 years of childcare experience. I started out as a Pre-Kindergarten teacher and then worked my way to different leadership positions such as a Health and Safety Coordinator, Assistant Director, and a Director. Most of my free time is spent with my nephew Lyncoln and going on cruises with family and friends. I am excited to continue my early education journey with you and be a part of this amazing Primrose family!

Hello! My name is Katelynn Daugherty and I am excited to introduce myself as the Assistant Director of Primrose School of Copperfield! I was raised in Splendora, Texas. I am a proud Sam Houston State University Alumni and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education and a Master’s Degree in Teaching and Learning with an emphasis in School Leadership. I have been an Education Coordinator, Assistant Director, and Director within Early Childhood Education. In my free time I love to read and spend time with my family. I am looking forward to continuing my journey in Early Childhood Education with the Primrose Family!

Hello! I am Melissa Carter and it is truly my pleasure to be the Education Coach at the Primrose School at Copperfield. I was born and raised in Elmira, New York and moved to Houston in 2010. I have a Bachelor of the Arts in Early Childhood Education Administration and a minor in Child Development. I have over 20 years of experience in education and care and enjoy all of the interactions and special moments I have been able to share with others throughout my professional career. Impacting the lives of young children and helping them meet their developmental milestones is truly something I hold dear. I face each day with joy and pride myself on helping both students and staff feel confident and supported to succeed in their educational environments. On a more personal note, I am the mother to my wonderful son, Marcus. I enjoy playing basketball, tennis, and enjoying coffee on my front porch. Hello, my name is Darianna Castro and I am currently attending the University of Houston Downtown to finish my bachelors degree in marketing! I have been working with children for 5 years and have been with Primrose for over a year now. I started as an assistant teacher in preschool 2, and now work as multi school support. I love all of the bonds I have grown with the children and families at the school. In my free time I love to spend time with my family, explore new restaurants and creating new friendships!

Ms. Marie has been with Primrose for ten years, but has worked in childcare for over twenty years. She loves working with children and being a positive role model in their life. She is a people person and tries to help others any way she can. She is very honest and upfront with those around her. She has one son and a grandson who is 11.

Ms. Josie’s passion is taking care of others. She plans to continue working with children in the future, just as she has done her whole life. She has been married for 27 years, has three daughters and one granddaughter. She has three dogs and one cat who also keep her very busy.

Hello, I’m Ms. Bee! I have an associates degree and have been working in childcare since 2015. What I love most about working with infants is seeing how much they grow! I have kids of my own who are now grown and a dog named Dice. In my free time, I love spending time with my family. I can’t wait to learn more about you and your family.

I am born and raised in Houston, Texas and couldn’t imagine being anywhere else! I live in the Cypress area with my boyfriend and our fur babies (two dogs and a kitty). I absolutely love infants and watching them thrive and learn everyday! I am currently working on my master’s degree in Early Childhood Education with an aspiration to become an early intervention specialist. Working with kids is a passion of mine and I look forward to a long and fulfilling career helping children thrive.

Hello and My name is Jessica Pineda, I am originally from New York, however moved to Texas over 12 years ago and love it. I have three children; two boys and one girl. My background is in the medical field, but I love working with children. I love spending time outdoors especially hiking with my family. Hello, my name is Lucila Rivas. I have been married for 22 years and have two wonderful children, Larisa and Franco, who are my whole world. I am originally from the beautiful country of El Salvador.

I hold my CDA (Child Development Associate) credential and truly love using the knowledge I’ve gained to support our students each day. One of my greatest joys is watching infants grow and develop into their own unique little personalities. Hi, my name is Ms.Turner, and I’m a teacher in the Early Preschool classroom. I have over two years of experience working in childcare and truly enjoy being part of each child’s learning journey. Hi, my name is Ashley. I have been teaching since 2015, working with all ages, but I just find myself back with the two year old age group! My favorite thing about teaching is learning with my students and seeing their faces light up during out lessons. During my personal time, I love to draw or read. Ms. Jessica has been at Primrose since 2013, and has worked in Toddlers, EPS and is currently the Preschool Pathways lead teacher. She enjoys working with children and being a part of their everyday learning and growing. Hello, I am Ms. Maria. I was born in Cuba and raised in Paterson, New Jersey. I am new to Primrose, but have 15 years of teaching expereince, primarily in early childhood education. The best part of my job is being able to experience and wittness life through the children’s perspective – one filled with wonder and excitement. On a personal note, I love Sunday brunch and watching cooking shows with my daughter. The Primrose character I most relate to is Peanut the Pony. Like him, I love words! I love reading, writing, and sharing stories with all my friends.
