Health & Safety

Our school is committed to high standards of safety and cleanliness as we create a caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive.

Requiring any children or staff with respiratory illness symptoms or fever to return home and stay home until fever free for at least 24 hours
Frequent disinfecting and sanitizing of high-touch toys
Frequent handwashing by children and staff, which is embedded in our curriculum and daily staff protocols
Training teachers on common signs of illness in children, and placing signage in every classroom to keep signs of illness top of mind
Daily laundering of crib sheets for infants; for older children, individual cots and blankets are provided for each child and laundered weekly
Ensuring appropriate teacher-student classroom ratios
Continuous health & safety training for our staff, including first aid and CPR certification
Maintaining an up-to-date and customized Safe School Plan posted in all classrooms for easy teacher access

Early Preschool One Lead Teacher

Hi, my name is Ms.Turner, and I’m a teacher in the Early Preschool classroom. I have over two years of experience working in childcare and truly enjoy being part of each child’s learning journey. Watching the children grow, explore, and reach new milestones brings me so much joy. I’m a proud mother to one amazing daughter, who keeps me inspired every day. In my free time, I love taking her to the park and spending time drawing together.

Hello! I am Mrs. Gaddis. I was born and raised in the Houston area and have been in the field of early education for nearly a decade. I love all that Primrose Schools offers not only to the families, but also to their staff. I have been married since 2016 and have a daughter whom I adore. I have worked in several Primrose Schools and look forward to another wonderful school year.

My favorite thing about teaching is learning with my students and seeing their faces light up during out lessons. During my personal time, I love to draw or read. Our little learners dive into stories, turn pages with purpose, and explore the magic of books with our Primrose Friend, Og the Book Worm! Beginning literacy early, lays the foundation for countless skills and lessons, from the development of language to understanding and appreciating the perspectives of others.

Talking about Healthy Bodies

Our Early Preschool students teamed up with Ally the Bunny to learn all about making healthy choices! Using picture cards, they explored different kinds of fruits, veggies, and nutritious snacks, while talking about how healthy food helps us grow strong and feel great.

Our young engineers at Primrose School of Copperfield explored motion, gravity, and problem-solving by building ramps! Using blocks, tracks, toys, and cars, students tested different heights and angles to see how objects move and slide.
