Mrs. Alexa
With over 15 years of experience in early childhood education, Mrs. Kleinjan brings a deep passion for child development and a strong commitment to building supportive, high-quality learning environments. Since 2009, she has held a variety of roles in the field—from Assistant Teacher to Assistant Director—each one strengthening her understanding of what children, families, and educators need to thrive. She earned her Child Development Associate (CDA) credential in 2016 and continues to lead with both experience and heart.
Mrs. Kleinjan is dedicated to creating a school culture rooted in warmth, growth, and excellence. She believes every child deserves a joyful and purposeful learning experience, and she is proud to help bring the Primrose Balanced Learning® approach to life each day through meaningful classroom support, teacher mentorship, and a focus on whole-child development.
Outside of school, Mrs. Kleinjan enjoys life with her husband, Andy, a long-time teacher at Harrisburg High School, and their two energetic young boys, Coen and Cutler. Their family is excited to be relocating to the Harrisburg area and becoming even more connected to the community they love.
Mrs. Kleinjan looks forward to leading with compassion, collaboration, and a belief in the lifelong impact of early education. She is honored to support your family and your child’s learning journey.

Hi! We are Paige and Zachary Berg, the proud owners of Primrose School of Sioux Falls at Heather Ridge. As parents, we understand how difficult it can be to find both a safe and educational environment that provides the exceptional level of care we expect for our most precious gifts. We are beyond excited to be a part of the Primrose family and to share this amazing school with the Sioux Falls community.
Unable to find quality childcare for our son due to extensive waitlists, we took matters into our own hands. Having family members that had sent their children to Primrose Schools in other cities, we had seen what childcare should look like. When we couldn’t find what we were looking for, we decided to build the Primrose School of Sioux Falls at Heather Ridge.
Paige previously worked in the healthcare industry and Zach serves the Sioux Falls community as a dentist. We are amazed by Primrose’s outstanding approach to education, the accredited curriculum, enrichment, and character development programs. Sioux Falls is our home, we live just down the road, and we are excited to see our neighbors attend Primrose School with us. We’re active owners and take great pride in bringing an exceptional academic program to our community. We look forward to meeting you and to Primrose exceeding your expectations.
