Welcome to Primrose School of North Olathe! We are proud to bring high-quality preschool and child care to young children and families in the Johnson County community. Our connection to Primrose began as parents. Both of our children, Henrik and Helena, attended Primrose, and we saw firsthand how a nurturing, exceptional school can shape a child’s confidence, curiosity and development. That experience inspired us to bring the Primrose approach to more families in our community and ensure other children feel the same sense of encouragement and belonging our own children did. Before becoming Franchise Owners, Magda spent more than 20 years in talent development and organizational strategy, creating people-first cultures where teams felt valued and supported. Bob brings a strong background in business operations and risk management and currently serves as Managing Counsel at National General, an Allstate Company. Together, our strengths allow us to build a school where teachers are empowered, systems are strong and families feel confident in the care their children receive. At Primrose, we believe who children become is as important as what they know. Our exclusive early learning approach balances purposeful play with nurturing guidance from teachers to encourage curiosity, creativity, confidence and compassion. We are excited to meet you and your family!

Our Toddlers have so much fun! The activities and play in this classroom keep our kids engaged and growing! We separate toddlers between younger and older to ensure their safety!

Our 3 year old's have so much fun in our preschool program! We keep them with their kindergarten peer group for a full year where they get to engage in daily STEAM activities, take part in our Spanish curriculum and work in small groups with our teachers with Literacy and Math. All done in a purposeful play model, where they have fun learning through play!

Private Pre-K Classroom
Our 4 year old's get kindergarten ready in our Private Pre-K program! Through assessments tracking, we know that 97% of our children are at or above kindergarten readiness, setting them up for success once they go to elementary school! In Pre-K we continue to engage in daily STEAM activities, take part in our Spanish curriculum and work in small groups with our teachers with Literacy and Math. All done in a purposeful play model, where they have fun learning through play!

Preschool Playground
With that largest playground in the area, our children have a blast being able to run around and enjoy the play spaces created for them, with 4 playgrounds, each age appropriate. We have 20,000 square feet of outside play area, a mix of artificial grass and natural grass areas and a large sports court for all the children to enjoy!

Splash Day!

Trunk or Treat!
We have so much fun with our annual trunk or treat! So greatfull for our wonderful families, we annually have 20 trunks for our children to go and visit!

Election day!
In November we our children visited our school ballot box as we learned about elections and voted for our favorite primrose puppet friend and for our afternoon snack! Our children were able to go home and talk to their parents about their special election day on the same day as our presidential election!

Thanksgivng lunch with parents!
Every Thanksgiving, we have a HUGE Thanksgiving Feast where our parents come and have Thanksgiving lunch with their children!

Sharing and Caring!
Every November our children take part in our unit of learning that is our sharing and caring program. They learn valuable life lessons about helping out at home and helping others during the holiday season. The children help out at home earning monies that they then use to purchase food items to donate to local food banks. Thank you to all our Primrose Families in support of our Primrose Promise Curriculum!
