Franchise Owner

Susan and Grant Burrow

Susan and Grant Burrow learned about Primrose School in 2001 while looking for a quality childcare for their first born. After many tours of schools and visits with Directors and Teachers, they decided on Primrose. When their second child arrived in 2004, they did not need to look outside the Primrose program. Both children started in a compassionate infant classroom and graduated from PreK at Primrose. The trusted relationships with the Owner, Director and Teachers were key so they could both travel with their careers in Telecomm. The social and academic growth with their children was amazing and fun to experience. In 2008, Susan decided to leave Corporate America as a Strategic Marketing Manager with Verizon and begin her inside look into Primrose. She joined the management team with Primrose in Cool Springs where she engaged with Teachers, Parents, corporate training, Children and the State. She helped in many aspects and her love for how Primrose partnered with Parents to create balanced and confident children deepened. Susan grew up and began her professional career in sales & marketing in Memphis, TN. She moved to Nashville in 1996. She is a ‘hands-on owner’. You can expect to see her in the mornings helping transition the children from Parent to Teacher. She knows first hand, this transition is a process for both Parent and child. Susan says “hire the right people for your team, appreciate and support them and put the children in the forefront of all your decisions”. Grant owns and operates Wireless Direct of Tennessee and will support the school’s operations. He grew up in Radcliff, KY and loves those UK Wildcats. He also has a great love for children and enjoys coaching little league basketball, football and baseball. Grant says, “work hard in all you do including having fun and always do your best.”
