Health & Safety
Our school is committed to high standards of safety and cleanliness as we create a caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive.
- Requiring any children or staff with respiratory illness symptoms or fever to return home and stay home until fever free for at least 24 hours
- Frequent disinfecting and sanitizing of high-touch toys
- Frequent handwashing by children and staff, which is embedded in our curriculum and daily staff protocols
- Training teachers on common signs of illness in children, and placing signage in every classroom to keep signs of illness top of mind
- Daily laundering of crib sheets for infants; for older children, individual cots and blankets are provided for each child and laundered weekly
- Ensuring appropriate teacher-student classroom ratios
- Continuous health & safety training for our staff, including first aid and CPR certification
- Maintaining an up-to-date and customized Safe School Plan posted in all classrooms for easy teacher access

Lexi Walk
Hello! My name is Lexi Walk, and I am a Toddler Teacher at the Primrose School of Marysville. I recently graduated high school in May of 2024, and during my senior year I tutored kindergarteners and first graders at one of the elementary schools here in Marysville! I have loved being able to help each of them learn and grow! In my free time, I enjoy baking and going on runs and walks outside. I am excited to bond with each child I meet and make an impact in their lives!

Brianna Lee
Hello! My name is Brianna Lee, and I am a Toddler Teacher at the Primrose School of Marysville. I have 3 years of experience working in childcare and grew up babysitting. I have always had a passion for helping children learn and grow. I love getting to build trusted relationships with both the children and their families. In my free time, I like to write and listen to music and explore new songs. I am so excited to build even more relationships during my time here at Primrose!

Karen Fryman
Hello! My name is Karen Fryman, and I have been an Older Infant teacher at the Primrose School of Marysville for the past 4 years. I love being able to play such a huge part in young children’s learning and development and find it very rewarding. Prior to working here at Primrose, I was an HR Professional for 35 years. Additionally, after retirement, I coordinated life enrichment activities for 5 years at a retirement facility. I very much enjoy being a part of the Primrose Marysville community!

Nerissa Calzo
Hello! My name is Nerissa Calzo, and I am an Older Infant teacher here at the Primrose School of Marysville. I am originally from the Philippines but have been located in Marysville for the past 4 months now! I have my Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management. I enjoy teaching because it allows me a chance to make an impact on a young child’s life. I am most excited about meeting so many new faces!

Ashwini Loganand
Hello! My name is Ashwini Loganand, and I an an Older Infant teacher at The Primrose School of Marysville. I am from India, but currently live in Marysville with my husband and two lovely sons. I have my Masters in Computer Application and enjoy listening to music and playing table tennis in my free time. I love working with the friendly parents and sweet teachers at Primrose Marysville. I am excited to work in an environment where I can teach, but am also given the opporuntity to learn from each of my students.
