Our Early Preschool Classroom

Many 2-year-olds want to do everything by themselves. And why not? It’s their way of experimenting and learning to understand the world. Early Preschool teachers provide a safe, nurturing environment where your child can explore and stretch their talents to the fullest all while building self-confidence. Your child will have fun every day as they play and learn important academic skills, social skills and more.

Health & Safety

Our school is committed to high standards of safety and cleanliness as we create a caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive.

  • Requiring any children or staff with respiratory illness symptoms or fever to return home and stay home until fever free for at least 24 hours
  • Frequent disinfecting and sanitizing of high-touch toys
  • Frequent handwashing by children and staff, which is embedded in our curriculum and daily staff protocols
  • Training teachers on common signs of illness in children, and placing signage in every classroom to keep signs of illness top of mind
  • Daily laundering of crib sheets for infants; for older children, individual cots and blankets are provided for each child and laundered weekly
  • Ensuring appropriate teacher-student classroom ratios
  • Continuous health & safety training for our staff, including first aid and CPR certification
  • Maintaining an up-to-date and customized Safe School Plan posted in all classrooms for easy teacher access

Hello! My name is Sophie Coe, and I am one of the Early Preschool teachers at the Primrose School of Marysville. I have 5 years of experience working with children and have grown up babysitting, I truly have always had a passion for early childhood education. I went to Ohio Hi-Point Career Center for two years and have a certificate in early childhood education as well as a high school diploma. It brings me so much joy to be working here at Primrose! In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, watching new movies, or winding down with some coloring! I am always excited to meet the new families and continue getting to build positive connections with all my students.

Liz Thomas
Early Preschool Teacher

Hello! I am Liz Thomas, and I am one of the Early Preschool Teachers at the Primrose School of Marysville. I attended Ashland University and have 7 years of experience teaching in early childhood education. My love for working with children comes from raising my own two boys that are growing up way too fast. Being able to care for children and help them grow is so rewarding. When I am not here at Primrose, you might find me at the library looking for my next book to read, or at the local hardware store starting another DIY home project. I am so excited to get to know all of you!
