Your 3-year-old is opening up their world, developing special friendships, learning new words and forming new ideas every day. Through purposeful play, meaningful questions and direct instruction, our Preschool teachers encourage your child to think in new and different ways. Your child will have so much fun that they won’t even realize they’re developing the skills they’ll need for reading and math.

Health & Safety
Our school is committed to high standards of safety and cleanliness as we create a caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive.
- Requiring any children or staff with respiratory illness symptoms or fever to return home and stay home until fever free for at least 24 hours
- Frequent disinfecting and sanitizing of high-touch toys
- Frequent handwashing by children and staff, which is embedded in our curriculum and daily staff protocols
- Training teachers on common signs of illness in children, and placing signage in every classroom to keep signs of illness top of mind
- Daily laundering of crib sheets for infants; for older children, individual cots and blankets are provided for each child and laundered weekly
- Ensuring appropriate teacher-student classroom ratios
- Continuous health & safety training for our staff, including first aid and CPR certification
- Maintaining an up-to-date and customized Safe School Plan posted in all classrooms for easy teacher access
Our Preschool Classroom Teachers & Staff

Ms. Bickel
Ms. Bickel has been a teacher here through Summers during school, and we’re so glad she came back full time after completing her degree at Ball State. She has 3+ years experience here at Primrose School at Gray Eagle. She is happy working at a place where she can help teachers but also help the children find fun & creative ways to learn. She graduated from Ball State in general studies. Ms. Bickel has two dogs that she loves spending time with, and loves hiking and going to different parks with her dogs. She also enjoys baking and painting.

Ms. Method
Ms. Method is a family within the family here, with her sister teaching at Gray Eagle as well! She has her Bachelors degree in Anthropology from Ball State, and a Master’s degree in Human Biology from UIndy. She is very passionate about teaching, no matter the age, having about 3 years experience in childcare. Ms. Method has a black cat named Maisy and a hermit crab named Ed. She loves reading, dancing, and hunting for fossils.

Ms. Fulk
Ms. Fulk earned a CDA. She has prior experience working at a middle school for special education, and multiple years teaching preschool with over 3 years here at Primrose School at Gray Eagle now. In her spare time, she enjoys watching her 3 teenage boys play football, photography, and scrapbooking.

Ms. Hoffman
Ms. Hoffman has a degree in Elementary Education from Indiana University, and taught Kindergarten before beginning her journey teaching Preschool, with a total of 7 years teaching experience! She is married to her high school sweetheart and they have a beautiful daughter together. In her free times she enjoys spending time with her family and watching sports.
