We know 1-year-olds are constantly on the move, exploring and learning through play at every turn. Our school is committed to high standards of safety and cleanliness as we create a caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive.
- Requiring any children or staff with fever to return home and stay home until fever-free for at least 24 hours
- Frequent disinfecting and sanitizing of high-touch toys
- Frequent handwashing by children and staff, which is embedded in our curriculum and daily staff protocols
- Training teachers on common signs of illness in children, and placing signage in every classroom to keep signs of illness top of mind
- Individual cots and blankets are provided for each child and laundered weekly
- Ensuring appropriate teacher-student classroom ratios
- Continuous health & safety training for our staff, including first aid and CPR certification
- Maintaining an up-to-date and customized Safe School Plan posted in all classrooms for easy teacher access
- Monthly emergency drills so children and staff are prepared for emergencies

Atziry Pelayo Alvarez
Hello! My name is Miss Atziry, and I am so excited to join the team here at The Primrose School of Exton. I’m 24 years old, have my own business selling self defense keychains, and have a daughter who is my whole world. I am a very fun, outgoing person, and I love getting to know new people. I have worked in many different facets of childcare over the years. In my spare time, I love to spend time with my daughter, hang out with friends, and go on trips. I cannot wait to learn more about you and your families!

Natalie Leonard
Hello! My name is Miss Natalie, and I am in the Toddler classroom here at The Primrose School of Exton. I have been in childcare for about a decade. I started nannying in high school, and I loved it! Working with young kids and getting to watch them grow is my passion! I cannot wait to continue to follow my passion and continue to grow at Primrose! In my spare time, I like to hang out with family and friends, travel to new places, and try new things. I’m excited for this opportunity to meet your families!

Hello families, my name is Miss Tonya, and I am a Toddler Teacher here at The Primrose School of Exton! I have 3 amazing children and 6 grandchildren. My older children are married with children of their own, and my youngest is in college. I have been in the child care field for 20+ years, and I love it! In my spare time, I enjoy going to the beach, eating sweets, and having fun with my family! I can’t wait to learn more about you and your family!

In my spare time, I enjoy going to Michael’s Craft Store, working on a new crochet project, or spending time with family and friends! I have an amazing family with two daughters, and my husband! I am so excited to learn more about you and your families!

Hello! My name is Miss Meghan, and I am so excited to join the team here at The Primrose School of Exton! I’ve been in childcare for about 2 years, and I am currently a Senior at West Chester University. My major is Special Education, with a minor in Autism Ed. In my spare time, I love to go to the beach, travel with family and friends, and go on new adventures. I’m excited for this opportunity to see what the children here can teach me!
