Our Preschool Pathways Classroom

Our Preschool Pathways program provides a “bridge” between our Early Preschool and Preschool classrooms for children whose birthdays will ultimately miss the cutoff date for kindergarten entrance. By identifying those children early, we can help them stay with a consistent group of peers through preschool, pre-K and kindergarten.

Health & Safety

Our school is committed to high standards of safety and cleanliness as we create a caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive.

  • Requiring any children or staff with respiratory illness symptoms or fever to return home and stay home until fever free for at least 24 hours
  • Frequent disinfecting and sanitizing of high-touch toys
  • Frequent handwashing by children and staff, which is embedded in our curriculum and daily staff protocols
  • Training teachers on common signs of illness in children, and placing signage in every classroom to keep signs of illness top of mind
  • Daily laundering of crib sheets for infants; for older children, individual cots and blankets are provided for each child and laundered weekly
  • Ensuring appropriate teacher-student classroom ratios
  • Continuous health & safety training for our staff, including first aid and CPR certification
  • Maintaining an up-to-date and customized Safe School Plan posted in all classrooms for easy teacher access

Miss Keerthana
Miss Keerthana
Preschool Pathways Teacher

Keerthana is a devoted mother of twin girls with a deep passion for early childhood development. She holds a degree in Civil Engineering and has long been inspired by the growth and learning potential of young children. Her love for early childhood education began in her teenage years, inspired by her mother, who was a preschool teacher. Some of her most cherished memories are of helping in her mother’s classroom, setting up activities, playing with the children, and witnessing firsthand how meaningful those early years are in a child’s development. Even as she pursued a career in engineering, that early connection to childcare remained a lasting influence in her life. Originally from India, Keerthana moved to the United States with her family after her husband received a work opportunity. Leaving behind the place she had grown up was a difficult transition, but it also gave her the chance to focus on raising her daughters and deepening her understanding of child development firsthand.Outside the classroom, she enjoys expressing her creativity through Zentangle and mandala art, which she finds both calming and inspiring. She also loves trying new recipes, especially desserts and often brings that same creativity and joy into the kitchen. These personal interests help fuel her teaching approach, where she aims to create warm, engaging, and hands-on learning experiences for children.
