Our Infant Classroom
We know the first year of life can have a big influence on a child’s success in the years that follow. That’s why teachers in your child’s Infant classroom provide a loving and nurturing environment as they lay the foundation for learning. This includes literacy; communication and vocabulary skills to help your infant better express their needs; gross motor skills and sensory development; and emotional well-being.

Our Infant Classroom Teachers & Staff

Mrs. Alice Saavedra
Mrs. Saavedra is a devoted mother who has loved watching her child grow and helping her reach important developmental milestones. This experience has inspired her passion for early childhood education and shapes the way she cares for young children each day. She is currently working toward her lead teacher certification and looks forward to continuing to grow as an educator and deepen her understanding of best practices with young learners.
In her personal time, she loves to bake and cook new foods, always looking for something fun to share with friends and family.
Her favorite thing about working with children is seeing their faces light up when they learn something new. Those joyful moments remind her why she loves what she does and motivate her to keep creating meaningful learning experiences. Her favorite children’s book is Little Blue Truck by Alice Schertle.

Ms. Alissa Sparks
Ms. Sparks possesses nearly five years of experience in the childcare field, having earned both a Lead Teacher and Infant/Toddler Certification. Her greatest fulfillment in working with children comes from the opportunity to positively influence their lives as they progress through various phases of learning and development.
In her free time, she takes pleasure in engaging in activities like playing video games, improving my drawing skills, and getting lost in the pages of an enthralling book.
Ms. Sparks primary objective is to build meaningful relationships with both the students and their families, thereby nurturing a strong sense of community and support. Her favorite children’s books is “Everywhere Babies” by Susan Meyers, which beautifully encapsulates the essence of early childhood experiences through its heartwarming narrative.

Ms. Jennifer Federle
Ms. Federle brings over 10 years of childcare experience, working with children from infancy through 3rd grade at an international school in Riyadh. Throughout her career, she has developed a deep appreciation for nurturing each child’s growth and supporting their early learning journey. She holds an Associate’s Degree in Education and has also studied Industrial Design at the University of Cincinnati, which allows her to bring creativity and thoughtful structure into her work with children.
In her personal time, she enjoys cooking, reading, sewing, knitting, drawing, and designing, and she loves incorporating these creative outlets into the classroom whenever possible.
Her favorite part about working with children is seeing their joy in everyday experiences and watching them absorb and imitate the world around them. She finds those small moments of discovery especially meaningful. Some of her favorite children’s books include Goodnight Moon by Margaret Wise Brown and Bear Snores On by Karma Wilson—stories that bring comfort, rhythm, and imagination to young readers.
