Our Preschool Classroom

Your 3-year-old is opening up their world, developing special friendships, learning new words and forming new ideas every day. Through purposeful play, meaningful questions and direct instruction, our Preschool teachers encourage your child to think in new and different ways. Your child will have so much fun that they won’t even realize they’re developing the skills they’ll need for reading and math.

Ms. Azita A
Preschool Teacher (Classroom 2)

I am Azita Amiri, a dedicated preschool teacher with 10 years of experience in early childhood education and a strong passion for supporting young children’s growth and development. I earned my Child Development certificate from De Anza College in 2020, and in 2025 I furthered my education at Mission College by completing a course in Personnel and Leadership in Early Childhood Education.

I was born in Ahvaz, a southern city in Iran, and raised in Tehran. My background has given me a deep appreciation for culture, diversity, and community, which I bring into my work with children and families.

I believe that early childhood is a critical stage of development. I strive to create a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued, confident, and supported. Building strong relationships and fostering curiosity are central to my teaching approach. Story time is one of my favorite parts of the day, and I especially enjoy reading Chicka Chicka Boom Boom by Bill Martin Jr. and Giraffes Can’t Dance by Giles Andreae.

In my free time, I enjoy watching movies and TV shows, painting, and staying active, I can’t imagine life without my workouts.

Preschool Teacher (Classroom 1

Hello, I’m Farzaneh “Mahsa” T. I was born and raised in Iran and hold a bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, along with completing over 30 units at De Anza College. Art has always been a big part of my life, especially drawing, photography, and modern painting. I have seven years of child care experience and have spent the past four years working closely with children, helping them explore their creativity through art and play. I believe children naturally express their inner world through creative activities, and I enjoy supporting them as they build confidence and a love for learning. I’m excited to build meaningful connections with my students and support their growth throughout the school year. When I’m not with children, I enjoy caring for my houseplants, painting, reading, and practicing meditation. Italian food is my favorite, and my favorite children’s books are The Very Hungry Caterpillar and Pete the Cat.
