Allison Knight
Allison Knight
Director of Operations

My name is Allison, and I have been working with children since 2003—a career I truly love. Over the years, I’ve gained experience in a variety of early childhood settings, including Before & After programs, nannying, Montessori classrooms with multiple age groups, and teaching Preschool and Pre-K. I hold an Associate of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education.

I have been part of the Primrose family since 2018 and am excited to begin this new opportunity at Primrose School of Wheat Ridge at Applewood. I live here in Wheat Ridge with my husband, Brian, and our two pets—a dog named Stella and a cat named Lily. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with friends, reading, and exploring all the beauty Colorado has to offer.

I can’t wait to get to know you and your family!

Daniela Tessier
Daniela Tessier
Assistant Director

Hello! My name is Daniela (Dani), I was born in Brazil and moved to the United States in 2009, an
experience that shaped both who I am personally and how I
connect with families from diverse backgrounds. I have a
background in Speech Pathology, Audiology, and Early Childhood Education which has
given me a strong foundation in child development and
communication.

I began my journey in early childhood education as a
preschool teacher in 2012, and three years ago I moved into
administration. In this role, I have found great joy in
supporting teachers, partnering with families, and helping
create a nurturing, organized, and positive environment
where children can truly thrive.

Let’s get to know each other.

Hi, I’m Brittany — a nature-loving mama who loves hiking and exploring with my two kids, Ariella and Logan. I also enjoy reading and winding down with a good book. I’ve worked in childcare for 5½ years, starting as a float and working my way up to infant nursery supervisor. I truly love watching babies grow and being there for their very first steps — it’s what makes my work so meaningful. I’m so excited to connect and build a great relationship!

I can’t wait to learn more about you and your family.

Mrs. Dibe
Mrs. Dibe
Lead Infant 2

Let’s get to know each other.

Hi, my name is Dibe. I grew up primarily in Colorado; I am a military brat! I’ve had many opportunities to work with children and learn with them, starting as a babysitter for my multitude of young family members, to spending ten years as a first responder–EMS and firefighter. I have been professionally and formally in the education system for several years, with experience in both Pre K and Infants. From environment to curriculum to playtime, everything is geared toward bettering the children and supporting their families; and the support and leadership for the teachers is incredible to boot. When I’m not teaching, I can usually be found writing children’s novels, crocheting, or training for a half marathon, somewhat begrudgingly.

I can’t wait to learn more about you and your family.

Franchise Owners

Emily and Bryce Durke

Welcome to Primrose Schools!

We are Emily and Bryce Durke, proud owners of the Primrose School of Wheat Ridge at Applewood. We are excited to bring high-quality early education and care to families right here in Wheat Ridge and the surrounding communities.

I’m Emily, and I hold a master’s degree in elementary education. For the past fifteen years, I’ve had the joy of teaching—five years in Arizona and ten years in the Cherry Creek School District—where I’ve seen firsthand how the right foundation shapes a child’s confidence, curiosity, and love of learning. That journey led me to Primrose and its research-based Balanced Learning® approach, which blends purposeful play with nurturing guidance to inspire a lifelong love of learning.

Bryce brings a background in construction and business, which has been essential to bringing our vision for this school to life. As parents of young children in Northwest Denver, we understand how important it is to find a place where children feel safe, cared for, and inspired to grow.

We are committed to creating the kind of environment we would want for our own children—warm, welcoming, and filled with meaningful learning experiences. We are honored by the trust families place in us and cannot wait to welcome you into our Primrose family.

Our doors will open early next year, and we truly look forward to meeting you and your little ones soon.

With warm regards,
Emily & Bryce Durke
