Our Infant Classroom
We know the first year of life can have a big influence on a child’s success in the years that follow. That’s why teachers in your child’s Infant classroom provide a loving and nurturing environment as they lay the foundation for learning. This includes literacy; communication and vocabulary skills to help your infant better express their needs; gross motor skills and sensory development; and emotional well-being.
Nurturing Active Minds, Healthy Bodies, and Happy Hearts®

Health & Safety
Their health & safety. Our top priority.
Our school is committed to high standards of safety and cleanliness as we create a caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive.
- Requiring any children or staff with fever to return home and stay home until fever free for at least 24 hours
- Frequent disinfecting and sanitizing of high-touch toys
- Frequent handwashing by children and staff, which is embedded in our curriculum and daily staff protocols
- Training teachers on common signs of illness in children, and placing signage in every classroom to keep signs of illness top of mind
- Daily laundering of crib sheets for infants
- Ensuring appropriate teacher-student classroom ratios
- Continuous health & safety training for our staff, including first aid and CPR certification
- Maintaining an up-to-date and customized Safe School Plan posted in all classrooms for easy teacher access
- Monthly emergency drills so children and staff are prepared for emergencies
Our Infant Classroom Teachers & Staff

Ms. Sharon
I grew up in New Rochelle, NY, and moved to South Carolina to give my children a better life – and I live by the belief that what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger. I love spending time with family and friends, going to the beach, reading, taking walks, and trying new restaurants. I have approximately ten years of childcare experience, always in an infant room, and my heart truly belongs with the youngest little ones. My greatest joy in this work is showing children love and experiencing that love given right back – there is truly nothing like it.
Favorite Primrose Friend and Why: My favorite Primrose Friend is Benjamin the Bear, because he shows children that they can be kind and give to others without expecting anything in return. I also love that he helps with the weather – I am a big weather watcher!

Ms. Olivia
I was adopted from Peru and raised in a big, warm Italian family, and family has always been everything to me. I am a mom to my 13-year-old son and a proud aunt to nine nieces and nephews – I call them my nuggets! When I am not at Primrose, you will find me diamond painting, reading, playing video games, or heading outdoors, all with my tuxedo cat Chichi by my side. I spent nearly ten years as a Registered Behaviour Technician doing one-on-one ABA therapy with children in daycares, homes, and clinic settings, and my favorite part of this work is watching children grow and develop into the best versions of themselves.
Favorite Primrose Friend and Why: My favorite Primrose Friend is Erwin the dog, because he represents friendship — and I believe that friends are so important in every single stage of life!

Ms. Shreosi
I am originally from Kolkata, India, and I moved to the United States in 2010 with my husband. We now live together with our daughter, and she is truly the light of my life. I am a creative person at heart – I love writing and illustrating children’s books, painting, cooking, and doing makeup, and I even worked as an interior designer back in India! My life philosophy is to treat people with kindness, keep learning, and always try to make a positive difference wherever I can. My childcare journey began in 2016 working with infants in Minnesota – also at a Primrose – and after two years at Big Blue Marble Academy, I am so happy to be back here every day.
Favorite Primrose Friend and Why: My favourite Primrose Friend is Molly the Cow, because she teaches essential lessons in respect and kindness, helping children learn how to get along with others and create a positive, inclusive environment where every child feels welcome.
