Our Kindergarten Classroom
In our Kindergarten program, your child continues to build and expand on critical skills, including literacy and math. Primrose® introduces and reinforces new information through playful exploration, teacher-guided inquiry and rich discussion as they help foster Active Minds, Healthy Bodies, and Happy Hearts®.
Nurturing Active Minds, Healthy Bodies, and Happy Hearts

- Ensuring appropriate teacher-student classroom ratios
- Continuous health & safety training for our staff, including first aid and CPR certification

Our Kindergarten Classroom Teachers & Staff

Mrs. Mimi
Mrs. Adera (affectionately known as “Mrs. Mimi”) joined Primrose Schools in 2007 with a deep passion for teaching children. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from St. Mary’s University. Mrs. Mimi spent her first year of teaching at a sister Primrose School, where she taught Preschool and Pre-Kindergarten.
In 2023, Mrs. Mimi and her family moved to the McKinney area, and she began leading our Private Kindergarten program. As a mother herself, all her children attend Primrose, making her even more connected to our school community.
We are incredibly grateful to have Mrs. Mimi as part of our team, and we appreciate the dedication and warmth she brings to the classroom each day.

Mrs. Alzerkani
Mrs. Alzerkani comes to Primrose School of Stone Brooke with 4 years of childcare experience. She is originally from Iraq but went to school for Technology Support in Minnesota and graduated in 2019. She enjoys hiking and exercising in her spare time.
Mrs. Alzerkani enjoys working with children because it gives her the opportunity to inspire and guide them as they learn and grow. As a teacher, she finds it incredibly rewarding to help students discover their strengths, build their confidence, and develop a love for learning.
