Our Early Preschool Classroom
Many 2-year-olds want to do everything by themselves. And why not? It’s their way of experimenting and learning to understand the world. Early Preschool teachers provide a safe, nurturing environment where your child can explore and stretch their talents to the fullest all while building self-confidence. Your child will have fun every day as they play and learn important academic skills, social skills and more.
Nurturing Active Minds, Healthy Bodies, and Happy Hearts®

Ms. Layne
Born in Plano and raised in Allen, Texas, Ms. Layne is a proud graduate of Allen High School and studied Medical Billing and Coding at Remington College. With over a decade of experience in early childhood education, she returned to her passion for childcare after a career in the corporate sector.
Since joining the Primrose School of Stone Brooke in January 2022, she has brought heartfelt dedication to her role. “I enjoy helping children grow and learn—and I learn from them as well,” she says. Her thoughtful approach and genuine care make her a cherished part of our team.

Ms. Carter
Ms. Carter is originally from Houston, Texas, and later relocated to Plano. She is a proud mother of two daughters who also attend the Primrose School of Stone Brooke, making her connection to our school community even more meaningful.
Her journey in childcare began by helping care for her younger siblings and cousins, where she discovered her natural ability to connect with children. Ms. Carter loves working with little ones because it allows her to express her inner child, share her energy, and enjoy the heartwarming moments, especially the big hugs!
In her spare time, Ms. Carter enjoys spending quality time with her children, going out to eat, and styling hair—a creative outlet she truly enjoys.
