Emily Connell
Mrs. Emily Connell serves as the Executive Director at Primrose School of Plano at Headquarters, bringing extensive experience in leading high-quality private preschools. Before joining the Plano campus, she successfully directed the Primrose School of Wellington for over four years.
Mrs. Connell earned her degree from the University of Louisville and relocated to the Plano, TX area to be closer to family while continuing her mission of positively impacting the lives of young children. She is a proud mother of two—one in middle school and one in elementary school.
Now a resident of The Colony, TX, Mrs. Connell is committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for every child at Primrose School of Plano at Headquarters. She is honored to lead a school that prioritizes health, safety, early learning, and strong family partnerships.

Izumi West
Mrs. West joined Primrose School of Plano at Headquarters as the Curriculum Director in September 2021, bringing over 15 years of early childhood education experience. She holds a Master of Education in Counselor Education with a specialization in Play Therapy, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Child Development—both from the University of North Texas.
Throughout her career, Mrs. West has progressed from Assistant Teacher to Lead and Master Teacher at private preschools across the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex and in California. Most recently, she served as the Director at a childcare center in Brentwood, California.
Passionate about early learning, Mrs. West is inspired by the “lightbulb moments” when young children make new discoveries or master new skills. As the Curriculum Director, her goal is to create a fun, engaging classroom environment where children experience daily growth, hands-on learning, and joyful achievement through the Primrose Balanced Learning® approach.

Kerbi Perez
Mrs. Perez joined the Primrose School of Plano at Headquarters team in November 2021. Originally from Washington, D.C., she moved to Plano from North Carolina nearly 20 years ago—though she’s still adjusting to the Texas heat!
Mrs. Perez is married and a proud mom to her daughter, Rumi, who attends Primrose with her each day. Outside of school, she enjoys spending time with family, watching football (Go Sooners and 49ers!), reading, and exploring the outdoors.
Mrs. Perez is thrilled to be part of the Primrose School of Plano at Headquarters, where she contributes to creating a warm, nurturing, and engaging early childhood education environment for every child.

Erin Erskine
Mrs. Erin Erskine has served as the Administrative Director at Primrose School of Plano at Headquarters since December 2022. A proud Texas native, she was born and raised in Arlington and now resides in Princeton, TX with her husband—her high school sweetheart of seven years—and their two beloved dogs, Bella (a golden retriever) and Haven (a husky).

Franchise Owners
Mike and Joyce Konrad
We are Mike and Joyce Konrad, the proud owners of seven Primrose Schools in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. We started with our first Primrose school in 1997. Once we became immersed in the school, we realized that the parents of today truly value the excellent, accredited, curriculum-based child care that we are providing.
We are certain the Primrose concept can provide what parents need for complete peace of mind when they are looking for child care. The parents in our schools know their children are safe, loved, and happy, all the while learning with a balanced, developmentally appropriate curriculum. We know this because countless parents have told us over the years how their children “surprise them” every day with what they learn at Primrose.
In addition, we have many public school Kindergarten and First Grade teachers comment that they recognize the Primrose children in their schools. They say they arrive above and beyond “school ready” in their respective classes.
We are very proud of the Leadership Team and teaching staff that we have at all of our schools. Because we have been able to achieve the Primrose “Exemplary” status in our schools, we are able to attract some of the best directors and teaching staff in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. The tenure of our Leadership Team and teaching staff is exceptional because we are committed to the continuous training and development of our staff. Many of our teachers and Leadership are promoted within our network of schools.
It goes without saying that our primary focus is on the safety and nurturing of your child. The additional layer of curriculum and character development programs round out what we know will be a truly positive experience for both you and your child.
We thank you for your time visiting Primrose School of Plano at Headquarters, centrally located off of Highway 121 between Frisco, Plano, and The Colony, TX. We want you to know that the trust a parent places in us when they leave a child in one of our schools is not taken lightly. We are committed to executing our programs and delivering to our parents and students what we promise.
