Our Toddler Classroom
An action-packed day full of fun and purposeful play helps toddlers develop Active Minds, Healthy Bodies, and Happy Hearts®. We know 1-year-olds are constantly on the move, exploring and learning through play at every turn. Primrose teachers use that energy and enthusiasm to foster cognitive, social, emotional and physical skills through engaging games and activities.

Our Toddler Classroom Teachers & Staff

Ms. Nicole Richmond
Nicole Richmond joined the Primrose family in 2024 and brings a unique perspective as both an educator and a parent. A certified dental assistant by training, Nicole discovered her love for childcare after becoming a mom and finds joy in supporting toddlers through their exciting, ever-changing developmental stages.
Nicole is the proud mom of a spirited daughter and two lovable dogs. She’s currently considering a career shift into radiology technology — proving that growth and curiosity don’t end in childhood! Her humor and authenticity shine through in everything she does.
Her favorite puppet is Molly the Cow, and she values the well-balanced curriculum and nurturing environment Primrose offers. Nicole loves watching toddlers grow into their personalities and being a part of the joyful chaos of discovery.

Ms. Gina Boothe
Gina joined the Primrose family bringing a strong background in athletics, coaching, and education. A former NCAA Division II All-American volleyball player at Edinboro University of Pennsylvania, Gina discovered her passion for teaching through sports, where she learned the value of connection, communication, and growth.
She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Foreign Languages from Edinboro in 2011 and has since built experience as a substitute teacher (PK–12), collegiate coach at Muskingum, and club director and head coach for local volleyball programs. Gina has always had a natural ability to relate to children and finds so much joy in helping them learn and grow.
Gina is a proud mom of three awesome kids who are her favorite people in the world. Outside of the classroom, she enjoys painting rocks with her children, playing volleyball, and attending Cincinnati sporting events. Her favorite children’s book is The Very Hungry Caterpillar, and she loves bringing fun, silliness, and energy into her work each day.
She appreciates the supportive environment at Primrose and loves being part of each child’s journey as they grow, learn, and discover who they are.

Ms. Brooke Staley
Brooke Staley joined Primrose in 2025, bringing with her a lifelong passion for caring for children and a nurturing spirit that shines in the Toddler classroom. As the oldest of nine siblings, Brooke has been surrounded by little ones her entire life — making early childhood education a natural and meaningful path.
Outside of work, Brooke is an avid reader who typically finishes two to three books a week. She also enjoys hiking, camping, and spending time outdoors with her family. Her deep love for animals and nature helps her bring calm, joy, and curiosity into her teaching.
Her favorite puppet is Og the Bookworm, and what she loves most about Primrose is playing such an important role in a child’s development. For Brooke, the best part of every day is seeing the children’s bright smiles and celebrating the milestones they achieve along the way.
