Our Early Preschool Classroom
Many 2-year-olds want to do everything by themselves. And why not? It’s their way of experimenting and learning to understand the world. Early Preschool teachers provide a safe, nurturing environment where your child can explore and stretch their talents to the fullest all while building self-confidence. Your child will have fun every day as they play and learn important academic skills, social skills and more.

Our Early Preschool Classroom Teachers & Staff

Miss Luz
Meet Miss Luz, a valued member of the Primrose School of Berkeley Heights team.
From an early age, Miss Luz dreamed of becoming a teacher, often playing “school” with her dolls—a dream she now fulfills with passion and dedication. With over 18 years of experience in childcare, Miss Luz is committed to supporting the growth and development of every child in her classroom. She is currently working toward earning her Child Development Associate (CDA) credential, with the long-term goal of opening a daycare in Puerto Rico.
Her favorite children’s book, Green Eggs and Ham by Dr. Seuss, reminds her of the importance of persistence and the joy of discovering new possibilities—values she strives to instill in her students. In her free time, she enjoys visiting the beach, spending time in nature, and reading.
Miss Luz is excited to be part of the Primrose family and looks forward to building strong relationships with both her students and their families, creating a nurturing and inspiring learning environment.

Miss Ciara
Meet Miss Ciara, a valued member of the Primrose School of Berkeley Heights team.
With five years of experience in childcare and teaching, Miss Ciara brings both knowledge and passion for early childhood education to her role. She holds a Bachelor’s degree and is dedicated to fostering the growth and development of her students each day.
Her favorite part of working with children is witnessing their learning journey and celebrating each milestone along the way. One of her favorite children’s books, Grumpy Monkey, is a classroom favorite that she enjoys sharing to inspire laughter, creativity, and meaningful conversations.
Outside of school, Miss Ciara enjoys singing, cooking, going on walks with her daughter, and spending time with family and friends. She also has a playful cat named Cyrus who adds extra joy to her home life.
Miss Ciara’s enthusiasm for education and her warm, nurturing approach make her a wonderful asset to the Primrose community.
