An action-packed day full of fun and purposeful play helps toddlers develop Active Minds, Healthy Bodies, and Happy Hearts®. We know 1-year-olds are constantly on the move, exploring and learning through play at every turn. Primrose teachers use that energy and enthusiasm to foster cognitive, social, emotional and physical skills through engaging games and activities.

Health & Safety
Our school is committed to high standards of safety and cleanliness as we create a caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive.
- Requiring any children or staff with respiratory illness symptoms or fever to return home and stay home until fever free for at least 24 hours
- Frequent disinfecting and sanitizing of high-touch toys
- Frequent handwashing by children and staff, which is embedded in our curriculum and daily staff protocols
- Training teachers on common signs of illness in children, and placing signage in every classroom to keep signs of illness top of mind
- Daily laundering of crib sheets for infants; for older children, individual cots and blankets are provided for each child and laundered weekly
- Ensuring appropriate teacher-student classroom ratios
- Continuous health & safety training for our staff, including first aid and CPR certification
- Maintaining an up-to-date and customized Safe School Plan posted in all classrooms for easy teacher access
Our Toddler Classroom Teachers & Staff

Ms. River Kurschinske
Ms. River brings over two years of child care and teaching experience, along with a Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education. She is passionate about supporting children as they grow, learn, and build meaningful relationships with their peers.
Her favorite children’s book is The Bad Seed, and Thanksgiving is her favorite holiday. One of her most cherished family traditions is opening Christmas presents at midnight.
At home, Ms. River enjoys spending time with her chocolate Labrador, Axel. In her personal time, she loves reading, taking nature walks, and listening to music.

Ms. Emily Burrows
Ms. Emily has 6 years of child care experience and loves watching children grow, learn, and giggle. Her favorite book is The Very Hungry Caterpillar, and Christmas is her favorite holiday.
She enjoys an annual family tradition of visiting the pumpkin patch. At home, she has a dog named Dave and a cat named Tao. In her free time, Ms. Emily enjoys hiking, shopping, sleeping, and driving around listening to music with her best friend.
Ms. Makenzie Ashley
Ms. Makenzie has 6 years of experience and has completed some college coursework. She enjoys helping children learn and showing them new things every day.
Her favorite book is Green Eggs and Ham, and she loves both Halloween and Christmas. A favorite family tradition is making Christmas cookies. Ms. Makenzie has two dogs, Willow and Bella. In her free time, she enjoys walking her dogs, camping, and listening to music while driving with her best friend.

Mrs. Sree Chintalacheruvu
Mrs. Sreelatha has 4 years of experience working with children. She finds working with children to be a truly wonderful and rewarding experience.
Her favorite children’s book is The Cat in the Hat, and Christmas is her favorite holiday. She celebrates Diwali at home and enjoys the family tradition of Bhathukamma. Mrs. Sreelatha speaks Telugu and English and loves spending time with her family.
