Health & Safety

Our school is committed to high standards of safety and cleanliness as we create a caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive.

Requiring any children or staff with respiratory illness symptoms or fever to return home and stay home until fever free for at least 24 hours
Frequent disinfecting and sanitizing of high-touch toys
Frequent handwashing by children and staff, which is embedded in our curriculum and daily staff protocols
Training teachers on common signs of illness in children, and placing signage in every classroom to keep signs of illness top of mind
Daily laundering of crib sheets for infants; for older children, individual cots and blankets are provided for each child and laundered weekly
Ensuring appropriate teacher-student classroom ratios
Continuous health & safety training for our staff, including first aid and CPR certification
Maintaining an up-to-date and customized Safe School Plan posted in all classrooms for easy teacher access

Ms. Aura

Assistant Toddler Teacher

Primrose School is happy to introduce Ms. Aura, a valued member of our teaching team. Ms. Aura joined our school in July three years ago and brings 17 years of experience working with children of various age groups in Portugal. Since joining Primrose, she has grown confidently into her role, with a passion for teaching children patiently until they understand and succeed. She especially cherishes the hugs and the love she receives from the children each day, which motivates her to create a warm, nurturing, and supportive learning environment.

Ms. Cheyenne

Lead Toddler Teacher

Primrose School of Ashburn is happy to introduce Ms. Cheyenne, our Lead Teacher in the Older Toddler classroom. Ms. Cheyenne holds a certificate in Early Childhood Education and brings nearly two years of teaching experience to her role. She joined Primrose in April 2024 and is passionate about supporting children as they learn and grow in a warm, engaging environment. Ms. Cheyenne enjoys building strong relationships with children, families, and fellow teachers, and she values the supportive, collaborative culture at Primrose that allows her to provide the best care and education each day.
