Max Emery
Hello, my name is Max Emery, and I wanted to tell you a little about myself.
My family is originally from Corvallis, Oregon where my parents attended Oregon State University. We moved to Texas in the summer of 2000. I have lived in Texas for 24 years and now consider myself a true Texan.
I have worked for Primrose Schools owned by the McLaughlins since June 2008. When I joined the Primrose Family in 2008, I was unsure what I wanted to be when I grew up. Over the past 15 years, I have developed a passion for the early childhood education industry and cannot imagine myself doing anything else.
In 2013, I began studying education and business at the University of St. Thomas in Houston. While there I studied business management, marketing, political sciences, and social issues in the education system. In May 2020, I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business MGMT at the University of St. Thomas.
I am honored and proud to be the Director at Primrose School of the Westchase District and look forward to what the future brings.
Stacey Palomarez
Hello! My name is Stacey Palomarez and I am the Educational Support. I have lived in Houston my entire life and love being from Texas. I graduated from the University of Houston in 2009 with a Bachelor’s in Art Education. I began teaching in 2010 and have worked with students ranging from Pre-K through 12th grade. My specialties are painting, photography, and sculpture.
I have 3 beautiful children. I am excited to be a part of the Primrose Schools.

Hello! My name is Vanessa Castillo.
I was born in Venezuela and lived in Chile for 4 years studying Dentistry at Universidad de Concepcion. I always liked the pediatric area of dentistry and working with children.
I moved to Houston in the summer of 2024.
I love learning languages, I speak fluently in Spanish, English, and Italian.
My favorite children’s book is Cinderella and I also enjoy traveling to different places, visiting museums, and listening to music.
I am excited to be part of the Primrose of Westchase District team.
Lesley Prosper
Ms. Lesley Prosper is from St. John’s, Antigua. She attended the University of the West Indies. Ms. Prosper started as a preschool teacher for Primrose School of Eldridge Parkway in 2009. She was an Educational Coach for the Venture Program until 2023 at Eldridge Parkway when she became an Educational Coach for 4 Primrose Schools. She has over 16 years of experience in childcare.

Hello, I am Anne Emery. Along with my husband Hank and seasoned Primrose Franchise Owners Lou Ann and Michael McLaughlin, we are the proud Franchise Owners of the new Primrose School of The Westchase District.
As dedicated educators and parents, we are thrilled with the opportunity to bring the Primrose Experience to an urban setting. I have a strong background in education, having earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in early childhood education from Oregon State University. I began my career at Primrose School of Cinco Ranch in 2001. I have since held the titles of Kindergarten Teacher, Director of Curriculum and Instruction and most recently, Director of Operations for seven Houston area Primrose schools and the Primrose School of Midland at Westridge. My husband, Hank, and I have been happily married for 35 years and have two children, Max and Abby.
The McLaughlins are recipients of the prestigious Primrose Schools President’s Award for outstanding achievement, are active participants in the Houston Children’s Fund and are proud grandparents of five grandchildren. Lou Ann holds a Master’s Degree in educational administration from the University of Houston and is a certified preschool director and trainer. We understand the importance of instilling a love of learning during a child’s early years, and we believe this to be essential to building a confident, well-educated generation of bright citizens. Primrose Schools is the Leader in Educational Child Care, and we are committed to delivering the best possible experience when it comes to your child’s education. We look forward to meeting you!
