Franchise Owners
Umesh Parekh and Deepa Parekh
Thank you for your interest in the Primrose School of Urbandale! The Parekh’s are the proud owners and operators in the Primrose School of Urbandale opened this November of 2020. Impressed by the premium quality of education Primrose School provides and their passion for community encouraged them to open a Primrose School in Polk County.
Deepa with over ten years of experience in early childhood education identified the crucial need for premium early education. Umesh is a proven business owner, previously operating retail stores nationwide. With the identified need and their passion for giving back to the community, the Parekh’s began to search for an opportunity that would allow them to give back to the next generation of bright citizens. After visiting their daughter at Drake University, they fell in love with the life and culture of the Midwest, specifically the community of the Des Moines area. Once their business partner had mentioned the quality of education Primrose provides, the Parekh’s were thrilled with the opportunity to bring a Primrose School to Des Moines Metropolitan Area.
The Parekh’s as parents themselves understand the decisions regarding a child’s early education is emotional and crucial to a child’s development. Deepa and Umesh take great pride in bringing an exceptional academic program to the community and will be involved in daily operations. The primary goal of the Parekh’s is to create a safe and encouraging environment for family’s to feel proud of their children’s experience at Primrose of Urbandale.
