Health & Safety
Our school is committed to high standards of safety and cleanliness as we create a caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive.
- Requiring any children or staff with respiratory illness symptoms or fever to return home and stay home until fever free for at least 24 hours
- Frequent disinfecting and sanitizing of high-touch toys
- Frequent handwashing by children and staff, which is embedded in our curriculum and daily staff protocols
- Training teachers on common signs of illness in children, and placing signage in every classroom to keep signs of illness top of mind
- Daily laundering of crib sheets for infants; for older children, individual cots and blankets are provided for each child and laundered weekly
- Ensuring appropriate teacher-student classroom ratios
- Continuous health & safety training for our staff, including first aid and CPR certification
- Maintaining an up-to-date and customized Safe School Plan posted in all classrooms for easy teacher access

Ms. Aylin
Hello! My name is Aylin. I was born and raised in Boulder, CO. I enjoy spending time with my family and outside. One of my favorite things to do during the summer is to go fishing or go up to the mountains. I started working at Primrose back in 2020 and have been loving it ever since!
Ms. Mackenzie
This is my second summer working at Primrose School at The Flatirons and I have enjoyed watching the kids grow and helping them prepare for kindergarten.
I graduated from Christian Brothers University in Memphis, TN with a bachelor’s in psychology. I am currently getting my masters and Ed.s in school psychology.
When I am not at work, I am enjoying time outside with friends and family.
Ms. Ashley
Hello! My name is Ashley! I grew up in Middle Tennessee and graduated in 2012 from Tennessee Technological University with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies: Fine Art and Exercise Science. In school I met my now husband, Nick, at a swing dancing club on campus. After graduation he, I, and our dog Bailey, moved to Orlando, FL so I could fulfill a lifelong dream of working at Walt Disney World. In December 2015 we moved back to Tennessee which led me to work with children in a before/ after school program. In 2016 we made the move to Colorado. I have since then aspired in teaching where each day I get to mold young minds in creativity and knowledge.
