Franchise Owner

Suzanne & Lonnie Cohn

Meet Suzanne and Lonnie Cohn – proud Owners of Primrose School of Natick and Primrose School of Sudbury. Both successful business people with a deep appreciation for education, they are thrilled to bring the Primrose Experience of premier early education and care to the children and families of Sudbury and the surrounding MetroWest communities.

Before owning Primrose School of Natick, the Cohns each had successful careers spanning more than a decade in Fortune 100 companies and other global organizations – Suzanne worked in human resources, and Lonnie in corporate finance. A year after their daughter was born, however, both Suzanne and Lonnie decided it was time to make a family-focused and passion-oriented career change, and they pursued opening a Primrose school. Primrose School of Natick opened its doors in 2016, and Primrose School of Sudbury is expected to open in 2025.

“A career in early education is the perfect opportunity for us to spend more time with our family while also making a positive impact on the lives of countless other children and families,” Lonnie said. “When we started researching early education and care opportunities, we found Primrose and wished we could send our children to a Primrose school – and that’s how we knew we’d found what we’d been searching for. From the intentionally developed school environment to the purposeful Balanced Learning® approach, we were awed by Primrose.”

In the fall of 2015, the Cohns moved from Hoboken, New Jersey, to Natick to open the school of their dreams. It’s a move that they never questioned, as they describe Natick as a place that immediately felt like home. The couple now resides in Natick with their three children who are now all Primrose alumni!

Suzanne focuses on the school’s marketing activities and community relations, drawing from her undergraduate business degree earned at Boston University and a master’s degree in industrial and labor relations earned from Cornell University. Lonnie, who earned an MBA from Rutgers University and an undergraduate business degree from the University of Delaware, manages the school’s financial and operational needs.

Together, the Cohns are committed to providing students with a safe and nurturing environment to learn and grow their Active Minds, Healthy Bodies and Happy Hearts® while providing parents with peace of mind, knowing their children are well cared for and receiving a premier education.

“From our own experience as parents, we understand that the need for high-quality early education and care is coupled with a deep desire for parents to know that they are doing the best thing for their children,” Suzanne said. “We can assure parents that at our schools in Natick and Sudbury, we are providing the best education and care experience possible for children and the best sense of community we can for the whole family.”
