Hello, I’m Mrs. Julie Hove. I wanted to tell you a little about myself.

I grew up in Lombard, Illinois and have a degree in Theatre Education from Illinois State University. I moved to Minnesota in 2002 to work for CLIMB Theatre. With CLIMB, I traveled to 175+ schools across the Upper Midwest and taught interactive classes to students from pre-kindergarten through college. I was lucky enough to execute CLIMB’s first international programming as well, teaching Bullying Prevention classes to elementary school students in Tokyo, Japan. After traveling with CLIMB I became the Director of their Teaching Company for several years.

In 2013, I decided to try teaching preschool and I’ve been working in early childhood education ever since. I came to Primrose School of St. Paul in 2017 and immediately felt like I had found the right place! I appreciate Primrose’s balanced approach that allows the kids to experience both purposeful play and teacher-directed learning. I also love the Happy Hearts program that teaches a different character education topic each month, as well as Harmony & Heart, our music program! I taught Pre-K at our school for four years before becoming an Assistant Director. I am excited that this position allows me to support all of the classrooms and all of the teachers, so that every student in our school will have the best possible journey!

I live in St. Paul with my husband, Eric, and our two cats, Beckett and Marcel. In my spare time I enjoy reading, binge-watching TV shows, and playing Pokémon Go. I can’t wait to learn more about you and your family!

Hello, I’m Ms. Britney.

I grew up in Minnesota, spent a few years in California, and made my way back to St. Paul. I have had many different positions, though most of them I have been working directly with children in some way. Now, I am excited to be a part of the Primrose Leadership Team and have the opportunity to work closely with our brilliant students, their amazing families, and our wonderful teachers as we all continue to learn and grow.

When I am not at work, I love spending time outside with my family, gardening, cooking, and biking or running with my husband, Tom, and three wonderful children. We love living in Saint Paul and think it is a fantastic city to raise children in.

Hello there! I’m Ms. Rachel. I wanted to tell you a little about myself. I have an associate’s degree in Early Childhood Development as well as in medical assisting. I went to Rasmussen Business College and High Tech Institute. I also attended Jackson State University. I am a commissioned artist outside of work and I am also undergoing a tattoo apprenticeship. I’ve enjoyed getting to know the babies and their families, and I look forward to getting to know the babies to come!

I went to Northwest Technical College in Bemidji for Child Development. I’ve been working with infants for about 20 years. I love working with infants and being apart of the Primrose Family!

I’m Ms. Constance, and I wanted to tell you a little bit about myself.

Growing up, I often found myself babysitting and admiring the teachers around me. In college, it only felt natural to start working in childcare while doing my studies, and it has been a joy to continue in this field. I married my beautiful wife in 2020 and we soon added two cats to our family. We are art enthusiasts and music lovers, and we’ll travel near or far for a beautiful experience. I look forward to meeting everyone and having a great school year!

Hi! I’m Ms. Athena and I want to tell you a little about myself.

I grew up in Minnesota and recently moved back here after living in Seattle. I am excited to return to childcare, where I had previously worked for several years! I have four children, the youngest of which attends school here at Primrose.

I’m a mom of an adult daughter. Before working at Primrose, I worked for a day program for adults with special needs for 21 years. I went to school for medical assisting. In my free time, I enjoy hanging out with my family and friends, going to my boyfriend’s cabin, traveling, and cooking.

Hello everyone! I’m Ms. Emma. I am from a family that is insanely huge and FULL of babies, so working with children has always been a calling for me! I live with my best friends, three cats, and a bunny! My cat, Bluebell, is like a daughter to me. I can’t wait to learn more about you, too!

Hello, I’m Mrs. Vilma. I wanted to tell you a little about myself.

I attended Pedagogical University in Vilnius, Lithuania and graduated with a Masters in Geography. I have 12 years + of experience working in Early Childhood Schools and Middle Schools. In my spare time I enjoy exploring and hiking outside with my family. I hope to encourage your children to develop into curious learners that will last a lifetime!

I’m Ms. Jael. I wanted to tell you a little about myself.

I have been working in childcare for 6 years, mostly with 16-36 month olds but I have also supported infants through 12 year olds. I’m currently in school for sports medicine. My average weekend usually involves my cats, boyfriend, the gym, and going for a run if the weather permits! I cannot wait to have fun adventures outside with the kiddos!

I’m Ms. Kaeden. Let me tell you a bit about myself!

I’m a student at St. Catherine University, studying social work with a certificate in child advocacy studies. I graduate in 2026 and then hope to go back to get my Master’s! I am very passionate about working with kiddos and used to babysit a lot growing up. Outside of work and school, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, and also my two kitties! I wanted to tell you a little about myself. My name is Fadumo. I am a Somali American born and raised in Minnesota my whole life. I graduated from the University of Minnesota with a degree in Sociology.

I started off babysitting for neighbors and close family friends. I have tutored school aged children. I also use to work at a different Primrose location.

My second job ever was working with children, and it made me realize how much I love to work with them! I have a dog named Rose that I love to play with, even though she doesn’t understand how to fetch. I completed part of college and can’t wait to go back and learn more! I grew up in Minnesota and have worked with children since 2014. I spent some time as a nanny and worked at two childcare centers before finding my home at Primrose. I am very excited to be in Preschool B and to have an amazing school year!

Hi! I’m Ms. Aine (pronounced like “Ah-nya”) and here’s a little about me! I graduated from South High School in Minneapolis in 2020 and am going back to school for early childhood education. I have been working in childcare and nannying for families for many years, and I have always wanted to be a teacher! I graduated from Concordia College in Elementary Education. I chose early childhood education because I love watching young children grow in their learning and experience the “lightbulb moments.” Outside of work I enjoy playing with my son and reading. I love to bake and cook whenever I can. I am looking forward to getting to know each child and their family!

Hello I’m Ms. Autumn and I’d love to tell you a little about myself!

Previously, I’ve worked as a lead daycare provider and Bible study teacher at my church. I’ve always had a passion for early childhood education and growing little minds! Currently, I am working towards completing my CDA (Child Development Certificate). A fun fact about me is that I’m almost fluent in ASL. My mother was hard of hearing so being able to connect with everyone and still give the gift of language and inclusion is so important to me!
