Mrs. Lekas
Mrs. Lekas is very committed and well educated with the Primrose way. Mrs. Lekas is the Director and cares about the standards and care of each and every child here at the Primrose School of South Riding. Mrs. Lekas is working toward obtaining a degree in Applied Science Early Childhood Development. She has worked in the Early Childhood Education for more than 15 years.
As a mother of twin boys, Mrs. Lekas knows how important it is to have a warm and caring environment. She thinks its bests to encourage children to do their absolute best. That is why she has chosen Primrose as a school not only for her liking but the liking of others. “It is a safe environment, and you can feel the warmth when walking into any Primrose School”. The environment at the school is friendly and outgoing.

Mrs. Gavin is the Private Kindergarten teacher at the Primrose School of South Riding. She holds a Bachelors Degree in Accounting, and a Masters Degree in Education. Additionally, she holds a Virginia State Teaching License and is certified to teach PreK – 8. In addition to working as our Kindergarten teacher since the 2014-2015 school year, Mrs. Gavin taught Pre-K students for five years and 2nd grade for 5 years. Her favorite part about Primrose is the children she teaches as well as their supportive families. Outside of Primrose, Mrs. Gavin enjoys watching her children play sports and spending time with her family.

Hello, we are Amanda and Eric McDaniel, the seasoned Franchise Owners of Primrose Schools in South Riding and Aldie. With over a decade of expertise in early childhood education, we are dedicated to creating a safe and nurturing environment where children can thrive. As parents, we understand the importance of quality educational child care and found that in Primrose Schools. The exceptional curriculum, teaching methods, and passion of those involved in the brand deeply impressed us, and we felt compelled to bring this wonderful experience to more families.
We started our journey in early childhood education with the opening of Primrose School of Atlee Commons in Hanover County in 2008, and then expanded to the Primrose School of South Riding. Our passion for instilling a love of learning in children’s early years has now led us to open our second location, Primrose School of Aldie. Our commitment to providing the best possible care and preparing children for future success is evident in all that we do.
