Our Kindergarten Classroom
In our Kindergarten program, your child continues to build and expand on critical skills, including literacy and math. Primrose® introduces and reinforces new information through playful exploration, teacher-guided inquiry and rich discussion as they help foster Active Minds, Healthy Bodies, and Happy Hearts®.

- Frequent disinfecting and sanitizing of high-touch toys
- Frequent handwashing by children and staff, which is embedded in our curriculum and daily staff protocols
- Training teachers on common signs of illness in children, and placing signage in every classroom to keep signs of illness top of mind

Our Kindergarten Classroom Teachers & Staff

Ms. Krysten
I am excited to share my love of learning and growth with children! I have experience teaching 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade in public schools, which has been incredibly rewarding. I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from USC Aiken and have enjoyed every step of my teaching journey.
One of my favorite things about working with children is getting to know their unique personalities and building meaningful connections with each child.
Outside the classroom, I love hiking and playing roller derby—two activities that keep me active and energized. At home, I enjoy spending time with my dog, Beau, and cherishing family traditions like visiting the holiday lights on James Island every Christmas.
A few fun facts about me: My favorite children’s book is The Giving Tree, my favorite holiday is Christmas, and I speak English at home.
I’m passionate about making learning fun and engaging for every child, and I look forward to creating a warm, welcoming environment where they can thrive!
