Your 3-year-old is opening up their world, developing special friendships, learning new words and forming new ideas every day. Through purposeful play, meaningful questions and direct instruction, our Preschool teachers encourage your child to think in new and different ways. Your child will have so much fun that they won’t even realize they’re developing the skills they’ll need for reading and math.

Health & Safety
Our school is committed to high standards of safety and cleanliness as we create a caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive.
- Requiring any children or staff with respiratory illness symptoms or fever to return home and stay home until fever free for at least 24 hours
- Frequent disinfecting and sanitizing of high-touch toys
- Frequent handwashing by children and staff, which is embedded in our curriculum and daily staff protocols
- Training teachers on common signs of illness in children, and placing signage in every classroom to keep signs of illness top of mind
- Daily laundering of crib sheets for infants; for older children, individual cots and blankets are provided for each child and laundered weekly
- Ensuring appropriate teacher-student classroom ratios
- Continuous health & safety training for our staff, including first aid and CPR certification
- Maintaining an up-to-date and customized Safe School Plan posted in all classrooms for easy teacher access

Mrs. Debbie
I have been in the childcare industry since 1986.
I have been an employee at Primrose School of Parkwood Hill since June of 2007.
Educational Background: I have a High School Diploma.
My Family & Pets: I live my husband and our two small dogs.
My Favorite Thing About Working With Children: There is never a dull moment. They make me laugh all the time!
My Family Traditions/Cultural Celebrations: Thanksgiving and Christmas.
My Favorite Color: Red and blue
My Favorite Animal: Dogs
Things I Like to Do in my Personal Time: Care for my dogs and plant and make outdoor decorations.
Ms. Rissie
I have been in the childcare industry since October of 2024.
I have been an employee at Primrose School of Parkwood Hill since February of 2026.
Educational Background: I have a High School Diploma, some credits in Psychology, and I am starting college in June for a teaching degree.
My Family & Pets: I have 2 boys! I have no pets currently, but I would love to have a tank of frogs one day.
My Favorite Thing About Working With Children: Kids are adorable and truly so funny! There is never a dull moment.

I have been in the childcare industry since May of 2021.
I have been an employee at Primrose School of Parkwood Hill since February of 2026.
Educational Background: I have a Bachelors in Child Develpment with an emphasis in Child Life.
My Family & Pets: I live with my mom,. step-dad, two dogs, and a cat.
