Hello! My name is Anastasiia Kasper, and my journey with Primrose began in 2022 at Primrose School of The Mid-Cities. Since joining, I have absolutely loved being part of this wonderful community!

My passion for working with children started in Ukraine, where I was born, raised, and earned my Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education in 2011. Since then, I have dedicated my career to nurturing young minds, and no matter how much time passes, children continue to bring joy and inspiration to my life.

In 2014, I moved to the United States and settled in Chicago, Illinois, where I met my wonderful husband. Together, we have three beautiful children—our son, James, and our two daughters, that were born after we moved to Texas in 2021.

I am beyond thrilled to be part of the Primrose family and to ensure that every child in our community is cared for, supported, and nurtured by our amazing teachers. I look forward to building strong relationships with our students and families and making a positive impact in their early learning journey!

I began my journey with Primrose School of The Mid-Cities in August of 2000, and it has been an incredibly rewarding experience. I chose Primrose because of my love for working with children, and over the years, that passion has only grown.

Since joining Primrose, I have had the opportunity to learn so much, build lasting relationships, and meet so many wonderful families and colleagues. This school has truly made a positive impact on my life, and I hope it does the same for you and your child.

I look forward to being a part of your family’s journey at Primrose!

Hi, I’m Mrs. Hernandez, and I’d love to share a little about myself! I have been a part of the Primrose family for almost 30 years, starting my journey in 1996.

I truly love working with young children because, for them, every experience is new and exciting. Each day brings a sense of wonder and adventure, making my job incredibly rewarding. One of my favorite moments in the classroom is watching the children dance and fully immerse themselves in the music—their joy is contagious!

My favorite children’s book is “If You Give a Mouse a Cookie” because it reminds me of my own children. Just like in the story, if you give them a little something, they’ll always want more—more love, more laughter, and more learning!

I look forward to creating special moments with your little ones and making every day at Primrose a joyful learning experience!

Early Preschool I Lead Teacher

Hello! I’m Mrs. Williamson, the Lead Teacher in the Early Preschool I Classroom. With over 30 years of experience in early childhood education, I am deeply passionate about nurturing young learners and building a strong academic foundation during these crucial early years.

I hold the following degrees and certifications:

  • Child Development Associate (CDA)
  • Texas Association for Mental Health Endorsement
  • Childcare Director Administrator License & Credential

I also actively pursue ongoing professional development through Camp Fire USA for Early Childhood Education, ensuring that I stay up to date with the best teaching practices.

I chose to work for Primrose because it aligns with my high academic and rigorous standards of curriculum and education for young children. I particularly enjoy the Primrose Balanced Learning Curriculum because it approaches early childhood education on a holistic level and fully prepares children for a solid foundation in future academic endeavors. With Primrose, it all starts here.

I am looking forward to another rewarding and educational year with your children. As always. I am looking forward to the exchange of learning between the children and myself. I have always felt that children are teachers as well, and learning is a reciprocal process.

“The capacity to learn is a gift; the ability to learn is a skill; the willingness to learn is a choice.”- Brian Herbert

Preschool Pathways Lead Teacher

Hello! My name is Ms. Yovanovitch, and I am the Lead Teacher for the Preschool Pathways class at Primrose School of The Mid-Cities. I began my journey with Primrose in the summer of 2018, but I have been working in Early Childhood Education for over eight years—and I enjoy every moment of it!

My passion for early childhood education comes from watching my students strive for excellence, overcome challenges, and explore the unknown with curiosity and confidence. I love fostering an environment where children are excited to learn, unafraid to try new things, and eager to grow.

One of my favorite books to share with my students is Dr. Seuss’ Green Eggs and Ham. It teaches an important lesson—sometimes, you just have to try something new, and you might end up loving it!

I am truly excited to be a part of the Primrose Mid-Cities family and to continue this journey of learning, discovery, and achievement with my students. Thank you for trusting me to be a part of your child’s growth and education!

Preschool Lead Teacher

Hello! My name is Armita Frierson, and I am the Lead Teacher for the Preschool class at Primrose School of The Mid-Cities. I began my journey with Primrose in the winter of 2021, but I have been working in Early Childhood Education for over 19 years—and I cherish every moment of it.

I am a proud mother of three—two sons and a daughter. In 2023, I experienced the heartbreaking loss of my son, and he will always hold a special place in my heart. I find strength in knowing that one day, I will see him again.

Beyond teaching, I have a deep love for cooking—it’s my passion and my creative outlet! As a true Cajun girl from Louisiana, I enjoy bringing the warmth of Southern hospitality into everything I do.

When I first started my teaching career in 2002, education looked very different. From the very beginning, I made a commitment to pour my heart and soul into learning, growing, and becoming the best teacher I could be. Over the years, I have trained, adapted, and worked tirelessly to make a meaningful impact on every child I teach. Seeing smiling faces light up with excitement and curiosity is the most rewarding part of my job.

I am proud to be part of the Primrose family and look forward to continuing this journey with your little ones. Thank you for trusting me to be a part of your child’s early learning experience!

Welcome to Primrose Schools!

I am the proud owner of Primrose School of The Mid-Cities, and I am honored to share my journey with you.

In 1998, as the building for Primrose School of The Mid-Cities was under construction, I was graduating from Covenant Christian Academy and preparing to embark on my college journey at Oklahoma Baptist University, majoring in Early Childhood Administration. I often drove past this new Primrose location while out and about with friends—probably stopping at Chick-fil-A or McDonald’s a little too often! One summer, I noticed a “Now Hiring” sign and decided to stop in. That moment marked the beginning of my career with Primrose and my lifelong connection with Terry Taylor and Rusty McNab.

As life unfolded, my husband and I found ourselves seeking both work and childcare. I reached out to Terry Taylor, and the rest is history! In 2006, I joined Terry and Rusty as a partner at Primrose School of The Mid-Cities, taking on the director role for many years while also growing my own family. Everything I have learned about business and early education stems from my years at Primrose. Understanding the growth and development of children from infancy has always fascinated me. The core teaching practices we followed in 1998 still hold true today, though we’ve evolved with new insights into how young children learn and the unique qualities they bring. Every day, I am grateful to be a part of our students’ lives and to build lasting relationships with their families.

At Primrose, we believe that who children become is just as important as what they know. This philosophy is at the heart of our Balanced Learning® approach, which blends purposeful play with nurturing guidance to inspire curiosity, creativity, confidence, and compassion. We don’t just deliver a curriculum—we provide a life-changing early learning experience for both children and their families.

We can’t wait to welcome you and your family to Primrose School of The Mid-Cities!

Our family would love to meet yours.
