My name is Yasamin Morshed and I am the Director here at the Primrose School at Lowry. I moved to Denver, Colorado in 2008 with my family and started working for Primrose Schools. I have my Bachelor in Translation, my Child Development Associate and my Center Director Qualification. I have 20 years of experience working in early childhood education field in different capacities, mostly in a management role. I am married and have 2 beautiful children. I am extremely excited to be a part of Primrose School at Lowry family and look forward to make wonderful memories with all the children and their families.

Hello, my name is Edith Martinez and I am originally from California. My family moved to Colorado when I was a teenager, and I absolutely love all this beautiful state has to offer. I started my Early Childhood career in 2009, and joined the Primrose Family in 2012. My daughter attended Primrose as a toddler through kindergarten. Which truly paved the path for her love and interest in education.  On the weekends I love spending time with my husband, daughter, son, our dog Ollie. I am most excited in building relationships with all of our families, and giving our teachers the support that they need.

Hello, my name is Zayra Rivera Mendez and I am originally form Oaxaca, Mexico but was raised in Colorado from a very young age. I joined Primrose and started my career in childcare in 2018. I am Group Lead Teacher certified and I also recently obtained by Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice and Criminology with a minor in Spanish. I am so excited and looking forward to making strong connections with all the students, parents, and fellow teachers at Primrose.

Hi, I am Ms. Vicky and I am excited to be teaching at the Primrose School at Lowry in our young infant classroom. I am a mom to two young girls and know how important a first positive experience in school can help children. Hello, my name is Ytzel Carrillo and I am originally from Mexico City, Mexico. I have many years of experience working with infants and toddlers, most of those years at the Primrose School at Lowry. My favorite activity is to spend time with my 2 daughters. I am most excited to get to know all the students in our Primrose School and to provide a great environment for all!

Hi, my name is Jackie and I am the Lead Teacher in the Young Toddler Classroom. Spending the day with young children gives me so much joy. I love watching them grow and learn each day. In the toddler classroom there is never a dull moment and I enjoy reading, painting and playing outside each day.

Hello, my name is Jasmine! I have several years of experience working with Toddlers and it is my favorite age group to work with. On the weekends I enjoy being outside! My favorite activity is hiking with my boyfriend and our Husky, Desna. I’m really excited to work with children and love watching them learn something new everyday!

Hi! I am Ms. Brittani and come from a small town in Indiana. We fell in love with the mountains in Colorado and have loved calling Denver our home. I have cats, dogs and son that keep my husband and I very busy when not working with children. I enjoy being here each day to help children learn and grow.

I graduated from the Community College of Denver with my Associates Degree in Human Services. I enjoy working with young children and helping them achieve their developmental milestones!

Hello my name is Angelica, and I want to tell you a little about myself. I am Originally from Chihuahua, Mexico but was raised here in Colorado. I have been a teacher at Primrose for many years and love working with the Preschool age children.  On the weekends I like to spend time with my family and boyfriend. I am most definitely excited to learn more about each student, and provide them with as much guidance as possible.

Hello, my name is Deisi and I wanted to tell you a little about myself. I was born and raised in Denver Colorado. I have worked at Primrose for many years in the Pre-K and Preschool Classrooms. I am a Credentialed Early Childhood Teacher. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I am passionate about working with children and see how much they can learn and grow.

Hello! I am Ms. Cortez and I am a teacher her at the Primrose School at Lowry. I worked as Ms. Brown’s Assistant Teacher for many years and am excited to take over my own classroom. Teaching social skills and academic skills to children are very important to me and I work hard each day to build relationships with children in my classroom. Outside of work, I spend time with my daughter and two brothers that I am helping raise. You can find us outside enjoying the beautiful Colorado weather.

I am so thrilled to be teaching at Primrose, I was a Primrose student as well! I know how important the early years of education are and spending my day helping children learn is my passion.

Hello! I’m Kat Brown and I have lived in Aurora, Colorado almost my whole life. I only left temporarily to attend the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley. While there, I joined the Alpha Omicron Pi Sorority Inc. I graduated with my elementary education degree and my teaching license. I have previous experience in both 3rd grade classrooms and at another Primrose! On the weekends my husband, stepson, and I enjoy hiking in the mountains or catching a game of college football!

Hi! I’m Emily Johnson and I hail from Cody, Wyoming. I have worked with children since 2010 and love every minute of it! My favorite part about working with children is when they learn something new and they light up wanting to learn more. I enjoy the outdoors and even spent time as a children’s ski instructor. Something you may not know about me is was a ski joring champion in my youth.
