Hi there! I’m Julie, and it’s a pleasure to connect with you. With 35 years immersed in Early Childhood Education, I’ve had the privilege of shaping young minds and fostering vibrant learning spaces. Before coming to Primrose of Lafayette, I spent 11 rewarding years managing a large, accredited school in Fort Collins.

My passion for early learning led me to earn my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education with an Early Childhood endorsement from Arizona State University, complemented by my Director Certification from Colorado State University. Since I began teaching in 1994, my goal has always been to create a bright, welcoming, and nurturing environment where every child feels safe and excited to learn.

A native of Jackson Hole, Wyoming, I made my home in Fort Collins in 1996 and now reside on a lovely small acreage in Ault, Colorado, with my husband. Family is everything to me; I’m blessed with five grown children and eleven amazing grandchildren. In my downtime, I cherish moments with my family, hiking, enjoying my farm animals, and finding peace tending to my flowers. I’m also an award-winning English Bulldog handler and enjoy spending time with my four beloved bulldogs.

Hi, I’m Corine!

I am a Colorado native! My favorite thing about Colorado are the beautiful mountains and being outdoors with my family. I have 2 children of my own as well as 2 bonus children!

I started my journey with raising my own children, to working in a foster home with children with disabilities, to nannying and now at Primrose of Lafayette. I loved it so much that I went back to school and am working on obtaining my Associates in Early Childhood Education. I started here as a teacher’s aide in March of 2023 in the Young Infant class and made it all the way up to Assistant Director!

I absolutely love the children here and being a part of their growth. I also love the relationships that I have built with the families. I am excited to continue my future with you all!

Hi I’m Ms. Darby. I am an experienced and dedicated early childhood educator. I have been nurturing and guiding children from as young as six weeks through 12 years of age. I began my early childhood education in the beginning of 2012 and have been with Primrose since 2017.

With a deep understanding of developmental milestones across a wide range, I have created engaging, supportive, and inclusive learning environments that foster curiosity, confidence, and growth in every child. Recently transitioning into an administrative role, I am able to bring my classroom expertise into my leadership role.

When I am outside of the school, I love seeking out new experiences with my family. We travel to new places, explore the outdoors, and finding the beauty in everyday moments.

I’m from Northeast Colorado. My most favorite thing about Colorado is the amazing weather! I am a mom of 3 kids myself and have worked in the early education field for 2 years.

I am joining Primrose of Lafayette as part of the leadership team as the Infant Nursery Supervisor. I love working with infants (and children) because of their amazing sense of wonder, positivity and energy.

When I am not teaching, you can find me enjoying the amazing Colorado scenery with a nice walk or drive, there is always something new to see! One thing I want you to know about me is that I’m affable and genial, and I hope that shows in the care I provide to children.

Hi, I’m Ms. Ivonne!

Originally from Guadalajara, Jalisco, I’ve had the pleasure of calling Colorado home since December of 1999.

My journey in Early Childhood Education spans 31 years, primarily dedicated to working with preschool to kindergarten-aged children. I’ve been a proud member of the Primrose School of Lafayette team since 2014, and I am particularly passionate about fostering kindergarten readiness and celebrating each child’s academic milestones.

When I’m not in the classroom, you’ll often find me enjoying quality time with my husband, whether we’re cooking up new recipes or exploring the scenic roads and trails on our bikes. My beloved dog, Pancho, keeps me active with our runs, and I also enjoy delving into informative books and cozying up with my cat, Malinche.

Hi I’m Ms. Diana!

I recently moved to Colorado from Mexico and is currently learning English. I have background working in childcare for over 10 years and have 3 kids of my own. I love teaching the toddler ages! My favorite part of working with kids, is the trust and bond that is formed. On my free time I enjoy listening to music while cleaning and going out to explore new shops!

Hi, I’m Ashley!

Originally from New York, I’ve dedicated the past seven years to early childhood education. Six of those years have been right here at Primrose Lafayette, where I’ve found my passion teaching in the toddler classrooms. It’s incredibly rewarding to engage with these young learners, create art with them, and embrace a bit of silliness! Witnessing their growth and being a part of their early lives is truly my favorite aspect of this profession.

When I’m not in the classroom, you’ll likely find me cheering at a sports game or enjoying live music at a concert.

I am from Boulder, CO. I love winters in Colorado!

I graduated from Boulder High and currently enrolled in a community college. I have worked in childcare since 2023 and love it! I have always wanted to work with children since I was little. There is a lot we both can learn from each other and there is never a dull moment!

I have been a lead ECT teacher here at Primrose Lafayette since 2018 and found my love for teaching children. When I am not teaching, I am enjoying time with my son and daughter, hiking, camping, and shopping.

My favorite children’s books is Guess How Much I Love You by Sam McBratney and If You Give A Mouse A Cookie by Laura Numeroff.

The Primrose friend I relate to the most is Benjamin the bear. It is my natural trait to be generous by being kind and putting others first. The ability to lead and guide anyone in a positive path.

I am originally from Broomfield, Colorado.

I have a bachelors degree in Exercise Science from Fort Lewis College. I just recently moved back to Colorado from Missouri and now that I am settled in Colorado, I wanted to become an early childcare educator. After I resigned as an athletic trainer, I became a nanny for a couple of years. I then accepted a Pre-Kindergarten position in Leawood, KS and taught at that school for 10 years before relocating back to Colorado. I have been with Primrose Lafayette since August 2022.

I love watching children knowledge and skills expand throughout the year.

I am from San Diego, California!

I hope someday I can attend film school, that is my goal. I have several years of experience working with young children, so naturally I gravitated towards becoming a teacher. I have previously worked in two other daycare centers as a teacher aide and a cook. I am beginning my journey becoming lead teacher qualified with Primrose Lafayette.

I’m currently enrolled at CU Denver, working toward my degree in Elementary Education. I’ve been working with children for just over a year, and I absolutely love it. Kids bring so much joy, curiosity, and whimsy into every day, and it’s a privilege to be part of their learning and growth.

I am from Thornton, Colorado and there isn’t anything better than the beautiful sunsets on the mountain range. I have almost completed my B.A. in speech, language and hearing sciences at CU Boulder. I have worked with children since I was 16, I love learning about how children learn languages.
