Hi, my name is Sonia! I am the Program Director. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Studies that I received in 2004 from Plymouth State University in New Hampshire. I moved to North Carolina and joined the Primrose family in 2008. I worked as a toddler teacher for many years and have experience with early intervention. My family, which includes my husband, three children (Primrose alumni) and a dog enjoy spending time together going for walks, playing sports, and visiting the beach!

Hello my name is Janae and I am your Assistant Director. I was born in North Carolina, I joined the Primrose family in 2010. I graduated from Campbell University with my Bachelor’s in Business. In my free time I enjoy going to the beach with my husband, my son, and our dog as well as attending a good concert!

Hi, my name is Jenna! I am the Education Coach. I have a Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education.  I previously worked at Primrose Hilburn from 2007-2019 before taking a small break. But I am excited to be back! I worked as a Preschool teacher for many years as well as the curriculum coordinator.

Hi, my name is Ms. Ashley and I am proud to be the Primrose Cook. I am from Smithfield North Carolina and I joined Primrose in 2019. I have my Early Childhood/Cosmetology Credentials from Johnson Community College. My favorite food would have to be anything seafood and I love getting my nails done. I am excited to start my journey here at Primrose!

My name is Beth! I was born in Western New York and graduated from The State University of New York, College at Fredonia with a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education. I moved to North Carolina in 1984. I have been teaching ever since (except for the three years I stayed home with my daughter Jenna). I joined the Primrose family in 2000. When I am not at Primrose I enjoy spending time with my daughter and reading!

Hello! My name is Tahra. I am one of the teachers in our Preshool classroom. I have a Bachelors Degree in Physical Education from the University of Alexandria. I have worked as an early childhood educator since 2006 amd joined Primrose in 2016. I am married with one daughter and in my free time I enjoy cooking and spending time with my family.

Hello! My name is Colleen. I joined the Primrose family in 2001. I have my North Carolina Early Childhood Credentials. I have been teaching since 1993. In my free time I enjoy watching movies with my husband and going for walks!

Hi, my name is Jessica. I went to ACC for a year to study in Criminology, but decided to take a different route. I have always had a love for young children and I am excited to begin my work journey here at Primrose. I joined Primrose in December of 2021. In my free time, I love skateboarding and being outdoors.

Hi, my name is Jean’ne! I have a business degree and my Early Childhood Credentials. I have been with Primrose since 2000. I love to go to the beach with my family and out with my friends whenever possible!

Hello, my name is Meghan. I’ve been working in childcare for over 20 years and joined Primrose in 2016. In my free time I love to cook and bake. I am married and have a daughter. I enjoy spending time with my family and watching football.

Hi, I’m Ms. Melissa and I am one of the Infant teachers here at Primrose School of Hilburn. I am originally from Archer Lodge, NC. I have my BS in Health Education from Elon College as well as my MA-MFT from Appalachian State. My favorite thing to do on the weekend is watch scarey movies & eat pizza! I am so excited to meet all the new sweet babies this year!
