Congratulations, Pre-K Graduates! 🎓📚💫
We are so incredibly proud of all they have accomplished this year. From learning new skills and growing in confidence to building friendships and making wonderful memories, these children have truly blossomed before our eyes. 💛
It has been such a joy to learn, laugh, and grow together. Watching each child develop into a kind, curious, and capable learner has been an honor for all of us at the school.
We can’t wait to celebrate everyone on Thursday at our graduation ceremony! 🎉 It is going to be such a special day filled with smiles, memories, and proud moments for our students and families.
To our graduates — always keep exploring, dreaming, and believing in yourselves. You are ready for your next big adventure, and we know you will do amazing things!
🌎💚 Earth Day Message from Our Director 💚🌎
Today is a beautiful reminder that even the smallest hands can make the biggest difference. When we teach our children to care for the world around them, we’re shaping a brighter, kinder future for everyone.
Let’s be the change—together. 🌱
Warmly,
Michelle Workman
👍 Thumbs Up! 👍
Today, our friends explored the power of balance! By stretching out their arms, they discovered how their bodies can stay steady and strong. It was so much fun watching them practice, wobble, and try again with confidence!
Way to go, friends—keep reaching, balancing, and growing!

🐾☀️ Happy Ground-Og Day! ☀️🐾
Today our little learners had so much fun learning all about Groundhog Day! We talked about shadows, seasons, and what it means when the groundhog pops out of his cozy burrow 🕳️🐿️
Whether he saw his shadow or not, our day was filled with smiles, giggles, and curious minds exploring winter and spring in a hands-on, age-appropriate way 🌸❄️
We love turning everyday moments into playful learning experiences—because that’s how children grow best! 💛

Sensory fun was in full swing in our Toddler Classroom today! 🌈✨
Our little learners explored, squished, poured, and discovered through hands-on sensory play—and while it may look like just “messy fun,” it’s actually doing some pretty amazing things for their growing minds and bodies!
Sensory play helps toddlers:
🖐️ Strengthen fine motor skills
🧠 Build brain connections through exploration
💬 Support early language development as they describe what they feel and see
😊 Encourage problem-solving and independent play
From soft textures to scoop-and-pour excitement, every moment was filled with curiosity and joy. We love watching our toddlers learn through play—it’s how they make sense of the world around them!
(And yes… there may have been a little extra clean-up, but it was totally worth it 😉)
National ASL Day 🤟💛
At Primrose School of Grandview, we love introducing our youngest learners to American Sign Language (ASL) as part of our Balanced Learning® approach.
Teaching simple signs in early childhood not only supports communication before verbal language fully develops, but also builds confidence, reduces frustration, and strengthens connections between teachers, children, and families.
From signing “more” and “all done” to expressing feelings and needs, our students are learning that communication comes in many beautiful forms. ASL also encourages inclusivity and helps children develop empathy and awareness of others.
Early experiences matter—especially in the first five years—when young minds are growing and forming connections at an incredible rate. By incorporating ASL into our daily routines, we’re giving children another powerful tool to express themselves and understand the world around them.
🎶💛 Harmony and Heart in Action! 💛🎶
Our students are loving our Harmony & Heart Music Program, where music becomes a powerful way to support emotional growth, creativity, and connection.
Through rhythm, movement, and song, children learn to express their feelings, build confidence, and develop a lifelong love of music. Watching their joy and engagement is truly the best part of our day! #primroseproud #balancedlearning
The Pledge of Allegiance ✨
Our Preschool Pathways friends start each morning with a special part of our circle time routine—the Pledge of Allegiance 🇺🇸✨
Gathering together each day helps build a sense of community, routine, and respect while giving our children a chance to practice listening, participation, and confidence.
We love seeing their proud voices, helping hands, and growing independence as they begin their day together!
Such a meaningful way to start our mornings 💙#primroseproud
✨What a holly, jolly day at Primrose School of Grandview! ✨
We kicked off our Holiday festivities with special visits from Santa and Mrs. Claus 🎅🤶, who surprised each child with a special coin—what a magical moment! This afternoon, we loved welcoming our families into the classrooms to celebrate together with festive fun and sugar cookie decorating 🍪❤️
It truly was a wonderful day filled with smiles, laughter, and Holiday cheer. We are officially ready for Christmas! 🎄🎁
Caring and Giving Food Drive
The annual Caring & Giving Food Drive benefitting Feed The Kids - Columbus was a huge success! 🎉
Our Primrose Schools collected over 20,000 snacks that will be sent home with children in need during the Holiday break. This incredible accomplishment is thanks to the generosity of our families, staff, and community partners. A huge THANK YOU to everyone who contributed and supported this drive. The impact our schools has on our surrounding communities is remarkable. ❤️#primroseproud

Already can’t wait for next year! 🧡🦇 #primroseproud
🎃✨ The Magical Pumpkin Fairy
🎃✨ The Magical Pumpkin Fairy visited and while the children were napping she sprinkled her magic dust over the seeds they planted… and when they woke up, pumpkins had grown! Each child got to pick their very own special pumpkin to take home. 🧚♀️🍂 Such a sweet bit of fall magic! #primroseproud #magicalpumpkinpatch #PumpkinFairy
🗳️ We Had an Election Day at Primrose Grandview! 🗳️
Our students learned all about the importance of making choices, using their voices, and practicing good citizenship through our very own Primrose Election!
Introducing concepts like voting at an early age helps children build confidence, understand fairness, and develop a sense of responsibility within their school community. It was a fun and meaningful way to show them that their choices matter!
This year, our friends voted for one of two beloved Primrose Pals:
🐭 Mia the Mouse – Mia shows children that being a good citizen means making your community, school, and home better for everyone.
🐓 Percy the Rooster – Percy teaches that courage is about doing the right thing even when it’s scary or hard, reminding children that they can be courageous in ways both big and small.
No matter who won, our students walked away with lessons that will last far beyond the ballot box. ❤️
Chess Enrichment Class
Our Pre-K learners have been diving into the world of chess, and we couldn’t be more impressed! They’re practicing taking turns, thinking ahead, solving problems, and celebrating each little victory along the way.
It’s amazing to see how quickly they pick up new skills—and how proud they are when they make a smart move on the board. 🧠✨
We love watching their confidence grow as they learn something new and exciting! 💚💚#primroseproud

She also brought our Pre-Kers their very own safety glasses so they can be scientists at home!
We love having her two children with our school, and we are so thankful to have an amazing Mom like her at Primrose to show our young girls that they can be ANYTHING!
Thank you for visiting, Dr. Carolyn!

March Family of the Month
Tummy time is BETTER with a friend ❤️❤️
Tummy time is crucial for a baby's development, as it helps strengthen neck and shoulder muscles & promotes gross motor skills! It also builds the strength needed for milestones like rolling, sitting, and crawling.

He even hid some eggs in our indoor playrooms for our afternoon egg hunt! What a fun, and EGG-citing day 🐰🥚#primroseproud

Technology in the classroom! ❤️❤️
Research has proven that introducing iPads in classrooms has a positive effect on the development of children’s literacy and numeracy skills. Moreover, it shows that the use of these devices enhanced children’s communication skills!
