Our Infant Classroom

We know the first year of life can have a big influence on a child’s success in the years that follow. That’s why teachers in your child’s Infant classroom provide a loving and nurturing environment as they lay the foundation for learning. This includes literacy; communication and vocabulary skills to help your infant better express their needs; gross motor skills and sensory development; and emotional well-being.

Health & Safety

Our school is committed to high standards of safety and cleanliness as we create a caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive.

  • Requiring any children or staff with respiratory illness symptoms or fever to return home and stay home until fever free for at least 24 hours
  • Frequent disinfecting and sanitizing of high-touch toys
  • Frequent handwashing by children and staff, which is embedded in our curriculum and daily staff protocols
  • Training teachers on common signs of illness in children, and placing signage in every classroom to keep signs of illness top of mind
  • Daily laundering of crib sheets for infants; for older children, individual cots and blankets are provided for each child and laundered weekly
  • Ensuring appropriate teacher-student classroom ratios
  • Continuous health & safety training for our staff, including first aid and CPR certification
  • Maintaining an up-to-date and customized Safe School Plan posted in all classrooms for easy teacher access

Hi! My name is Ms. Fisher and I am from Columbus, Georgia. I have over 20 years of childcare experience. I love teaching infants because I like to nurture and watch the growth and development of the children I work with. I attended the University of Phoenix, where I studied Information Technology. My favorite meal is chicken alfredo with strawberry lemonade. I am loyal, trustworthy, and dependable. On the weekends I enjoy travelling for weekend getaways and dancing. This school year I am most excited about getting to know and forming bonds with the children in my classroom.

Hello, I’m Mrs. Ivanova. Originally from Bulgaria, I bring over 20 years of childcare experience to my role. For the past 6 years, I’ve had the pleasure of being part of the Primrose family. Some of my favorite colors are yellow and turquoise—they always brighten my day! On the weekends, you can usually find me reading, shopping, or spending time with friends and family. I have a special place in my heart for children’s literature, with The Berenstain Bears collections being among my favorites. I am most excited about meeting each of my students, building relationships with them, and watching them learn and grow. Every day is a new adventure, and I am thrilled to be a part of their journey!

Hi! I’m Mrs. Dhalai, and I’m so happy to be part of the Primrose School of Georgetown family. I’m originally from Trinidad and bring 20 years of childcare experience with me. Working with children has always been my passion, and I’m excited to continue helping them learn, grow, and shine each day. Some of my favorite things include Chinese food, fruit smoothies, and the color blue. On the weekends, I enjoy spending time with my family and watching soccer matches. One of my favorite children’s books is Jack and the Beanstalk—I love the sense of adventure and imagination it inspires. This school year, I’m most excited to spend time with my students, teaching them and getting to know each of their unique personalities. I look forward to all the learning, fun, and special memories we’ll create together!

Our family would love to meet yours.
