Franchise Owners
Christopher and Jamie Essig
Hello! We are Christopher and Jamie Essig, the proud owners of Primrose School of Estero and Primrose School of North Naples.
Our journey with Primrose began years ago when we watched our niece flourish while attending her local Primrose School. In just six months, we saw incredible growth in her confidence, social skills, and intellectual development. We were so inspired by the Primrose Balanced Learning® approach and the culture of partnership with families that when we were preparing to welcome our daughter Chloe, we knew we wanted to bring this level of quality to our own community.
With Christopher’s entrepreneurial background and Jamie’s experience as a Physical Therapist, we decided to make our dream of owning a Primrose School into reality in 2013, so we moved our family from upstate New York to Naples, Florida and just a few months later, in March 2014, we proudly opened our first location, Primrose School of North Naples. That same year, we also welcomed our son, Bentley. In August 2019, we opened our second location, Primrose School of Estero.
At Primrose School of Estero, we believe who children become is as important as what they know and our research-informed approach to teaching, learning, and care is unparalleled. We deliver more than a curriculum; it’s a life-changing early learning experience for our students and their families. Committed to providing the very best for our students, we pursued and achieved accreditation from Cognia in 2021. This recognition reflects our dedication to continuous improvement, high-quality programming, and strong student outcomes.
Giving back to our community is an important part of who we are. Alongside our families and staff, we proudly support organizations such as Golisano Children’s Hospital of SWFL, Make‑A‑Wish SWFL, Valerie’s House, St. Matthew’s House, various hurricane relief initiatives, and Christopher is a board member at the Golisano Children’s Museum.
Our mission is simple: to create a nurturing, safe, and inspiring environment where children build a lifelong love of learning. We are honored to be part of your child’s early education journey and are dedicated to providing the highest-quality experience for your family.
We look forward to welcoming you to our Primrose family.
