Angel Madrigal
Hello Team,
I’m so excited to officially introduce myself as your new Executive Director! My name is Angel Madrigal, and I come to you with over 22 years of experience in Early Childhood Education—a field I’m truly passionate about.
My journey began in Price, Utah, where I started as a Preschool Teacher for Head Start, working side-by-side with my cousin in a brand-new center. That first experience lit a fire in me that’s never faded. Not long after, I moved to Arizona, which felt like coming home since I spent much of my childhood in Mesa. I returned in 2003 with my oldest daughter, who is now 26 and leads a center for children with Autism (proud mom moment!). Since then, my family has grown—I now have a 19-year-old son in college with dreams of entrepreneurship, and a 17-year-old daughter who will be a senior in high school this fall.
For nearly 15 years, I was with my previous company, and while I’m grateful for that chapter, I knew it was time for growth. That path led me here—to all of you—and I couldn’t be more honored.
I truly believe that early childhood education lays the foundation for a child’s future success. As I step into this role, my mission is to support you as educators, uplift your work in the classroom, and collaborate with Christina, Destyni, and Ashley to lead our center with heart, purpose, and excellence.
We’ll grow together, and I’ll be setting expectations as we go, but here’s what I’d love for you to know from the start:
· The needs of our children and families come first—always.
· Come in each day prepared, positive, and ready to make an impact.
· Go the extra mile not just because it’s expected—but because it matters.
· And most importantly… have fun. The joy you bring into the classroom is what makes it magical.
Thank you for the incredibly warm welcome over the past few weeks—it has meant so much to me. Please know that my door is always open. Whether you have ideas, concerns, or just want to talk, I’m here for you.
Here’s to a great journey ahead—together!

Ms. Ashley
My career in childcare began in 2010, and over the years, I’ve had the joy of teaching children ranging from ages 2 to 12. Before moving into leadership, I worked in Southern California, where I specialized in conducting orientations for new hires to help them kickstart their own journeys in education.
I joined the Primrose team in 2025 as a Support Teacher and quickly progressed to Education Coach before stepping into my current role as Assistant Director.
My favorite part of our Balanced Learning® approach is the Small Group time within our Venture Program. There’s something so rewarding about sitting down for individualized, differentiated instruction while the energetic “buzz” of centers fills the classroom.
The best part of Primrose School of East Mesa is undoubtedly our families. There is a genuine sense of community here, and I truly love being a part of the lives of the children and parents we serve every day!
