Hema and Navnit Patel

Welcome to Primrose Schools!

We are Hema and Navnit Patel, the proud owners of the Primrose School of Chantilly. I, Hema, graduated from Drake University with a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy, and my husband, Navnit, graduated from the Medical College of Virginia, also with a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy. We have been practicing as pharmacists for over 25 years and have two beautiful children who are both attending the University of Virginia’s School of Engineering. Our love for family, children, education, health, and safety are some of the many factors that encouraged us to open our own Primrose school.

After being closely involved with our children through various STEM-related school activities, volunteering, and starting external organizations to further challenge our children, we realized we wanted to continue this journey even after our children graduated high school. We want to make a lasting difference in children’s lives by pursuing our strong belief in giving back to the community. Through high school friends, we had been introduced to Primrose Schools, and have always been remarkably impressed by the level of care, nurturing, and education they provide for children through their early learning curriculum and character development. Our new school will provide us the opportunity to give back to the community and continue our passion for high-quality early learning, education, health, and safety for the next generation. This holistic approach is important in constructing character and creating the perfect foundation to successfully build upon for their future. We believe in a childcare center where children look forward to coming to school every day and learning through enjoyment and play. As pharmacists, we understand the importance of health and safety, and as parents, we understand the value of quality childcare and education. We look forward to continuing the satisfaction of early educational learning and character building to lay the foundation for our children and their future.

“Who children become is just as important as what they know.” This belief is at the core of our Balanced Learning® approach. Our exclusive early learning program balances purposeful play with nurturing guidance from teachers to encourage curiosity, creativity, confidence, and compassion. We deliver more than a curriculum; we provide a life-changing early learning experience for children and their families.

We are excited to meet you and your family and to have a lasting impact on our community! We are conveniently located by the Udvar-Hazy Center near many Government Buildings serving greater Chantilly, Westfields, Centreville, Fair Lakes, and Herndon.

*Study was conducted on a representative sample of Primrose Pre-Kindergarten students across twelve Primrose schools in nine states in the Spring of 2024. The Bracken School Readiness Assessment 4th Edition assesses children’s school readiness in terms of their understanding of concepts that are strongly related to early childhood cognitive and language development as well as early academic achievement.
