We know the first year of life can have a big influence on a child’s success in the years that follow. That’s why teachers in your child’s Infant classroom provide a loving and nurturing environment as they lay the foundation for learning. This includes literacy; communication and vocabulary skills to help your infant better express their needs; gross motor skills and sensory development; and emotional well-being.

Health & Safety
Our school is committed to high standards of safety and cleanliness as we create a caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive.
- Requiring any children or staff with respiratory illness symptoms or fever to return home and stay home until fever free for at least 24 hours
- Frequent disinfecting and sanitizing of high-touch toys
- Frequent handwashing by children and staff, which is embedded in our curriculum and daily staff protocols
- Training teachers on common signs of illness in children, and placing signage in every classroom to keep signs of illness top of mind
- Daily laundering of crib sheets for infants; for older children, individual cots and blankets are provided for each child and laundered weekly
- Ensuring appropriate teacher-student classroom ratios
- Continuous health & safety training for our staff, including first aid and CPR certification
- Maintaining an up-to-date and customized Safe School Plan posted in all classrooms for easy teacher access
Our Infant Classroom Teachers & Staff

Ms. Jacky Urias
Ms. Urias is from Orange County, CA. She has four years of experience working with children. Ms. Urias has a baby boy names Esteban and a dog named Lucky. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, going for walks with Lucky and baby Esteban, and shopping.
Fun fact: Ms. Urias’ favorite type of music is Bachata

Ms. Sylvana Cabrera
Ms. Cabrera is originally from Guatemala. She has over 5 years of early childhood education experience and has worked with infants, toddlers and preschoolers. Ms. Cabrera has a cat named Chicos. In her free time she loves to read books, swim, and go on small hikes.
Fun fact: Ms. Cabrera’s favorite dessert is milk chocolate

Mrs. Shayna Campbell
Mrs. Campbell is from Omaha, NE, a seven hour drive from the Twin Cities, and currently lives in Champlin with her daughter, Ava, husband, Tyler, and dog, Smokey. Mrs. Campbell has worked with children for the last seven years and has enjoyed every minute of it! In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, watching movies, and taking walks at the Dayton dog park.

Ms. Gaolee Vang
Ms. Vang is from Brooklyn Park, MN. She attended Augsburg University and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work. Ms. Vang perviously worked as an after-school tutor for fourth graders and that is where she found her passion for working with children. Ms. Vang comes from a family of 9 (including herself). She also has a family dog named Wukong. In her free time, Ms. Vang enjoys hanging out with her family, trying new boba shops, and spending quiet time alone.
