Welcome to Primrose Schools!
We are proud owners of Primrose School of Westwoods and Primrose School at Candelas.
As parents of two young children, we personally experienced the challenge of finding high-quality early childhood care. We chose Primrose Schools for their emphasis on structured education balanced thoughtfully with free play. Our family has been part of the Primrose education system since 2014, and we’ve seen firsthand how our children thrived and benefited immensely from their experiences.
While many daycare options exist, we found very few that genuinely prioritize comprehensive early childhood education and the well-being of children in a safe and nurturing environment. Recognizing this significant gap in western Arvada, we decided to open Primrose School at Candelas. This allows us to expand and further reinforce the exceptional care already provided by Primrose School of Westwoods, ensuring more families have access to high-quality early childhood education in our community.
Before embarking on our journey as childcare center owners, we both held corporate roles leading strategy, financial, and operational functions. We earned our Master’s Degree’s in Engineering and Business from Oklahoma State University and Duke University. Having lived in western Arvada for fifteen years, we are deeply connected to this community. Our older children graduated from Ralston Valley High School, and our younger children currently attend schools within the Jeffco system. We cherish being part of this vibrant community and are committed to positively impacting future generations.
Central to our Balanced Learning® approach is the belief that “Who children become is as important as what they know.” At Primrose School of Westwoods and Primrose School at Candelas, we embody this philosophy daily. We strive to provide more than just an educational curriculum; we offer a transformative early learning experience that shapes the lives of children and supports their families.
