Our Preschool Classroom
Your 3-year-old is opening up their world, developing special friendships, learning new words and forming new ideas every day. Through purposeful play, meaningful questions and direct instruction, our Preschool teachers encourage your child to think in new and different ways. Your child will have so much fun that they won’t even realize they’re developing the skills they’ll need for reading and math.

Our Preschool Classroom Teachers & Staff

Ms. Harley
I live in Temple with my parents, 3 cats, & the Yorkie I’ve had since I ten. I enjoy drawing, listening to music, & going to concerts. Family means everything to me, so I like to travel to see extended family up north. Happily, I took a big step outside my comfort zone to get my CDA & become a lead teacher, but I love being a part of kids growing physically, mentally, & emotionally. And I know I made the right decision when I see kids’ faces light up when they accomplish & learn new things, knowing I helped get them there. I love Primrose – not only is it a wonderful place for children, but it helps me grow as well.

Mrs. Cherry
I was born in the Philippines & moved to the US in 2013. My husband, Michael, & I have a beautiful daughter, Isabella, who attends Brookstone’s Preschool-K. I received a 2-year technical degree in the Philippines. I truly enjoy working with children – it keeps me young. I am well-spoken in Tagalog & English. In my spare time I enjoy video games, puzzles, shopping, & family time.

Ms. Candi
Hi! My name is Candi short for Candara. I live in a small-ish town called Rome with my mom, sister, brother and our five dogs. If you can’t tell, I absolutely love dogs and I love kids just as much. I’m very musically inclined! I sing and play the saxophone and violin. I chose to work at Primrose Brookstone because I feel God was calling me here and also I just love the way the kids light up the moment they walk through the doors, and I wanted to be apart of that light.

Mrs. Glenda
My name is Glenda Lara. I was born in El Salvador, but in my late teens I moved to Canada with my mother and siblings. In the 10 years I lived there I received my Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education from George Brown College. Working with young children has always been an inspiration for me, even before I became a mother. For the last 25 years I have been living in Georgia with husband and our three wonderful children … Emily (22), Dylan (19), and Daniel (15). In my free time I enjoy being with my family, and I love watching my sons play soccer. I am really excited to become a part of Primrose School at Brookstone, and I’m looking forward to the opportunity to help the children learn and grow each day.

Ms. Karilissa
Hello! My name is Ms. Karilissa. I was born in Kingston, Jamaica and moved to the United States at the age of 11and gradutated from North Paulding High School in 2022. I have been working in childcare for several years and am currently in school pursuing my Childhood Development Associate (CDA) credential. I have a pssion for teaching swimming year-round and love watching children grow in confidence and skill. One of the most rewarding parts of my job is seeing each child reach their developmental milestones. I cherish being part of their journey and truly love helping them grow!

Ms. Gracie
I love working with children and getting to be apart of their special “light bulb” or “a-ha!” moments when all the learning clicks. Outside of going to high school, and working here I really enjoy watching movies and baseball. I also love spending time with my dogs Hazel, and Piper.
