Health & Safety
Our school is committed to high standards of safety and cleanliness as we create a caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive.
- Requiring any children or staff with respiratory illness symptoms or fever to return home and stay home until fever free for at least 24 hours
- Frequent disinfecting and sanitizing of high-touch toys
- Frequent handwashing by children and staff, which is embedded in our curriculum and daily staff protocols
- Training teachers on common signs of illness in children, and placing signage in every classroom to keep signs of illness top of mind
- Daily laundering of crib sheets for infants; for older children, individual cots and blankets are provided for each child and laundered weekly
- Ensuring appropriate teacher-student classroom ratios
- Continuous health & safety training for our staff, including first aid and CPR certification
- Maintaining an up-to-date and customized Safe School Plan posted in all classrooms for easy teacher access

Hi! 🌸 My name is Mary, and I am a Pre-Kindergarten Teacher here at Primrose School of Broadview Heights! 🎓✨ I live in Brooklyn with my boyfriend and our cat, Shadow 🐱💛
My journey in childcare began while babysitting in high school, and I quickly fell in love with working with children 😊🌈. I joined the Primrose family in February 2023 and have truly enjoyed every moment!
I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Education from Cleveland State University 🎓📚. Since graduating, I have worked with children of all ages — from infants to high schoolers 👶📖 — but I especially fell in love with early childhood education and Pre-K programs! I recently spent a year and a half working in a prekindergarten classroom and loved every minute of it. 💕
One of my favorite children’s books is 📖 The Dot by Peter H. Reynolds 🎨✨ because it encourages creativity and reminds children that everyone can be an artist in their own way!
Reading is one of my favorite hobbies 📚😊, and I strongly believe in the importance of imagination, creativity, and encouraging children to express themselves confidently 🌟💛

Hi! 🌸 My name is Kathy, and I am a Pre-Kindergarten Teacher here at Primrose School of Broadview Heights! 🎓✨ I live in Richfield, Ohio, and I have worked in the early childhood education field for the past 32 years! 🍎💛 I have proudly been part of the Primrose family since 2021 🌈
Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to work with children from infancy all the way through 12 years old 👶📚, but preschool has always been the most rewarding age group for me! 😊✨
One of my favorite children’s books is 📖 Mother Goose 🪿💕 because I love the illustrations, and it was actually the very first book I learned to read with as a child. It holds such a special place in my heart! 🌟
One of my favorite parts of teaching is watching children discover and learn new things every day 💡🌈. Their excitement, curiosity, and creativity make each day so rewarding — and sometimes they even teach me a few things too! 😊💕

One of my favorite children’s books is 📖 The Rainbow Fish 🐠🌈 because it shares such a beautiful message about friendship, kindness, and embracing what makes us unique. I love how the story shows that even when someone feels different or alone, kindness and sharing can help create meaningful friendships. 💕
