Health & Safety
Our school is committed to high standards of safety and cleanliness as we create a caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive.
- Requiring any children or staff with respiratory illness symptoms or fever to return home and stay home until fever free for at least 24 hours
- Frequent disinfecting and sanitizing of high-touch toys
- Frequent handwashing by children and staff, which is embedded in our curriculum and daily staff protocols
- Training teachers on common signs of illness in children, and placing signage in every classroom to keep signs of illness top of mind
- Daily laundering of crib sheets for infants; for older children, individual cots and blankets are provided for each child and laundered weekly
- Ensuring appropriate teacher-student classroom ratios
- Continuous health & safety training for our staff, including first aid and CPR certification
- Maintaining an up-to-date and customized Safe School Plan posted in all classrooms for easy teacher access

Ms. Emily
Hi, my name is Emily! I am from Mokena, Illinois and have been working with children since 2016. I have my Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education. When I completed my degree, I left Primrose for a year to teach first grade; I soon realized how much I missed it here, so I returned! What I love most about working for Primrose is how positive and friendly everyone is. I love seeing all of the smiles on others’ faces throughout the day. I can tell everyone is genuinely happy. I am very grateful to be a part of such a welcoming community. When I’m at home, I enjoy reading and playing with my two dogs. I am most excited about getting to know the kids and seeing the growth and progress they make over the year.

Hi, my name is Leslie! I am from Mexico and have worked in childcare since 2022. What I love most about Primrose is watching the kiddos grow and learn new things every single day. On the weekends, I enjoy playing volleyball, drawing, painting, and taking photos. I am most excited to see the kiddos grow and learn new things this year!

Hi, my name is Sabrina! I am from Bijejina, Bosnia and have been working in childcare since 2008. What I love most about Primrose is getting to work with the children. They each have their own personalities, and I love getting to help them learn new things! I also enjoy doing anything outdoors! I am most looking forward to meeting new families and watching the children grow academically!

Hello! My name is Andrea! I am from Indianapolis and have a background in accounting and finance. I have worked in childcare on and off for a few years and am excited to be back working with kids again!
What I love most about Primrose is the children and fellow teachers! In my free time, you can find me spending time with my friends and family and attending all sorts of sporting events around Indianapolis.
