Hi, I’m Ms.Sharonna!
I’m originally from Dallas and have been with Primrose for five years. I started my journey as a teacher at our West Lake Hills location before moving into a curriculum role at Primrose Bee Cave. I truly love the Primrose curriculum and the way it supports children’s growth and development.
I’m so excited to now be a Director at such a wonderful school with amazing families and teachers! When I’m not at work, I enjoy traveling, going for runs, and spending time with my puppy. I can’t wait to continue building relationships with our families and supporting our students!
Ms. Aliah
Hi, I’m Ms. Aliah!
I began my journey at Primrose West Lake Hills in 2019 as an infant teacher, later transitioning into a Pathways teacher and then into a teacher trainer—I’ve felt a true sense of belonging since day one!
Most recently, I served as the Curriculum Coordinator at Primrose Lakeway for the past year before moving over to Primrose Bee Cave. The Curriculum Coordinator role is truly my bread and butter—I have a passion for helping both teachers and students learn with love and purpose.
On the weekends, I enjoy Mommy-and-son adventures, getting creative with crafts, cooking up something fun in the kitchen, and going to church. I’m so grateful to be part of the Primrose family and continue doing what I love every day!

Ms. Celeste
Hi, I’m Ms. Celeste!
I joined the Primrose family at our Lakeway location, where I grew from a Pathways teacher to a Preschool teacher. I’ve been part of this wonderful organization for over two and a half years. I’m originally from San Antonio and even worked at a Primrose before moving to Austin. I have a true passion for early childhood education and love helping children grow and thrive.
Outside of school, I enjoy traveling, dancing, and spending time with my puppy. I can’t wait to get to know you and your family!
Ms. Daisie
Hi, I’m Ms. Daisie!
I was born and raised in Austin Texas. I have been in childcare for 10 years and I am excited to grow in this field. I love interacting with families and building relationships with the children. I have been with Primrose School of Austin at Mueller as a teacher since 2021 and can’t wait to meet more of our families in the Office Manager role.

Ms.Breona
Hi, I’m Ms. Breona!
I grew up in Austin, Texas. I come from a big family. I have one older brother and five younger sisters. I’ve watched my sisters grow, and being able to experience their growth has inspired me to want to work with kids. I’ve been a toddler teacher at our sister location, Primrose School of Westlake Hills, since 2022 and have loved every bit of it! Now that I am the Office Manager for Primrose School of Austin at Mueller, I am so fortunate to meet a whole new set of kids and families!

Ms. Anyssa
Hi, I’m Ms. Anyssa!
I joined the Primrose team in March 2022. I started as the Toddler teacher at our Primrose School of Austin at the Muller location, then went to our Lakeway location as a Young Toddler teacher, and then transitioned into the leadership position in December 2022 as the Curriculum Coordinator at Primrose School of West Lake Hills. It is full circle for me to now be supporting enrolment at both our Primose Mueller and West Lake Hills locations!
I grew up in McAllen, Texas for most of my life and moved to Austin in 2014! In my free time, I enjoy going to my husband’s baseball games and spending time with my daughter!

Mr.Chris
Hi, I’m Mr. Chris!
I started my journey with Primrose back in 2014 as an Explorers teacher, and since then, I’ve pretty much had every job in the company! Before stepping into my current role as Area Director of Enrollment and Community, I served as the Director at our Mueller location and, prior to that, as an Enrollment Coordinator.
I love football (go Birds!), floating the river, listening to music, and really any kind of adventure. Most of all, I enjoy spending time with my son and making memories together. I’m excited to support our schools and families while helping our community grow!

Hi, I’m Ms. Aja!
I’ve been with Primrose for almost two years. I started my journey in the Pathways classroom at our Lakeway location before moving to the West Lake Hills campus last summer, where I’ve loved continuing to teach in the Pathways Program.
I’m originally from Kansas and, most importantly, I’m a proud mom to an amazing 6-year-old daughter. I’m also excited to step into the Trainer role and get to know the children and families across all four of our campuses!

Christy Black and Jordan Owens

The Primrose team has a passion for growing children and adults and takes pride in their GROW values and the culture created within their schools. Let us tell you our story:
Christy Black and Jordan Owens have been joint owners since November of 2022. Christy purchased her first school, Primrose School of Bee Cave, in 2014. She opened Lakeway and Westlake in February and September of 2017, respectively, and Mueller in September of 2019. She and Jordan have plans to open a fifth location in Easton Park in 2025! Their dream is to open ten Primrose Schools in the Austin Market, and are halfway there!
Christy has worked for Primrose since 2007, where she worked as an Assistant Director and Director of Primrose School of Hidden Lakes, before purchasing Bee Cave and moving to Austin in 2014. Jordan Owens joined Christy’s Primrose team in the summer of 2018 as the Director of Primrose School of Lakeway.
In 2020, Christy had the opportunity to update her leadership structure and create an Executive team to run all four schools. The executive team consists of: Christy Black (Owner/CEO), Jordan Owens (Owner/COO), Jenny Pillans (Exec. Director of HR), and Selena Garza (Exec. Director of Academics).
Combined, the executive team has over 35 combined years of experience and is proud to represent the Primrose culture which you will find to be a positive, engaging, and joyful one. The executive team is available any time to discuss anything going on in your lives or simply get to know you better. You will find them here almost every day and at all of the schools’ major events; the Primrose family is an extension of their own family.
