How are Early Educators of the Year selected?

Early Educators of the Year are selected based on their excellence in teaching, relationships and impact on children. Nominees are evaluated on four key criteria: bringing joy to their work each day, building trusted relationships with children and families, supporting children’s learning and development, and bringing the Primrose Balanced Learning® approach to life through exceptional classroom practices.

Who is eligible for this recognition?

Accepted Answer

The Early Educator of the Year program recognizes classroom educators across Primrose schools. Eligible nominees include Lead Teachers, Assistant Teachers and Support Teachers who demonstrate exceptional dedication to children, families and their school community. School leadership and administrative roles are not eligible.

Question 3

Who can nominate an educator?

Accepted Answer

Nominations are submitted by each school’s leadership team. School leaders evaluate educators within their school and select one nominee who exemplifies excellence in teaching and early childhood education.

Question 4

Does every Primrose school participate?

Accepted Answer

Every Primrose school is encouraged to participate in the program and may select one local Early Educator of the Year nominee. Local winners are celebrated within their school communities, and nominees are then considered for regional recognition.

The Early Educator of the Year program was created to celebrate the exceptional educators who inspire children, build meaningful relationships with families and bring learning to life every day. By recognizing their dedication, passion and impact, we hope to show our gratitude for the important role they play in helping children develop a lifelong love of learning.
